Guys!!! Can i replace Tamiya Thinner with normal Cheap thinner(for wallpainting)?

Cause im beginning to use Airbrush.. But i can afford to wash my airbrush everytime with the TAmiya expensive Thinner. Imagine if i need to submerge the whole aibrush into a cup of thinner.. Tat will be rm 30 gone each time for a bottle of tamiya thinner!!!

I need advice on using Airbrush.. Please help me up!!!~ There must be quite a number of u guys using airbrush here right?

1)I want to ask. What is d difference between Mr Superclear and Top Coat.
Both also have in gloss, semigloss and matt.

2) Mr surfacer available in 500,1000, 1200, Mr Base white and Mr White Surfacer. What is each of this surfacer different?

3) Mr Metal Primer. what it does? Is it making metallic - chrome colour? is it mix with other colours so that the gloss/flat paint will become metallic look?

4) What is d different between Mr thinner and Mr levelling thinner?

5) If possible, please guide me to any website that describe each function of the products. Im trying to understand all these tools b4 buying.

let me answer your questions (although i have not seen the video)

1) now this i cant really imagine what is the hollow part without viewing the video... are u talking about seams? seams is the thin little gap that u see when u fix a two-piece combo... sanding and puttying will also help to make it seamless... gluing seam using cement (not construction ones) will also help... of course, sanding is require after gluing seams...

2) you can use an eraser to erase the excess marker's mark... just dont erase in parallel with the panel lining. there are 2 types of gundam marker for panel lining... water and oil based

3) sanding can make the surface smooth also... depends on which grade of sand paper u use. marks WILL NOT appear that obviously if you are using a high grade (thus, finer) sand paper to sand it. if you are a perfectionist, you can apply putty over the sanded area and re-sand it again... apply mr surfacer on it and u got a nice, smooth surfacer to work on....
