Bandai put out a press release announcing the joint creation with jewelry designer Ginza Tanaka of Gundam Fix Platinum, a pure platinum RX-78-2 Gundam Fix Figuration figure. The Fix Platinum figure will be on exhibit at Basel World 2007, the world's largest watch & jewelry trade show, held in Basel, Switzerland, from April 12th through the 19th and on display at events in Japan afterwards. While there are no current plans to sell it, its value is given by Bandai as $250,000.

The idea for the piece was suggested to Ginza Tanaka in 2004, with Hajime Katoki overseeing the production of the 89 separate parts made through platinum processing to create the 120mm tall, 1.4 kg GFF figure. From design to manufacturing, it took 2 years to make. As a final touch, the head is adorned with a 0.15 karat diamond. The apparent goal of the endeavor was to create a masterpiece combining the rare, eternal pureness of "the king of precious metals" with the lasting worldview of Gundam.

is it possible for blu duel & stargazer to come out in SD ver.? since there's strike noir & verde buster . .

We're getting dreamy, aren't we? Bandai will probably never release something as huge as an MG Dendrobium (unless RX78 pilots it )... It's up to third party companies or resin kit manufacturers to come out with these monsters...

Heheh there is still a sanding technique out there if u dun want to paint ur Gundam. But that is a lot of job.... i tried it on my Stargazzer and the result r good, just that i felt very tired.

yup everything required practice. Reminds me of my first AB kit the SRW Alteisen, it was a pain in the ass getting it done. Same goes for my Zeta.
Hey talking of SD, is they any place selling those cute SD SRW kits. I saw a lot of them in the Degenki Magazine

i wanna ask a very basic ques..the cutter!
it seems like most of u use the hobby cutter one..any other option of cutters that give same effect n usability?
i went to giant n carefour but cant find the exact shape that is appropriate for the runners..
im not a starter..its just that up to now i only use scissors to cut from runners n nail clipper to clean the edges..

finish my freedom SD n color using white board markers..turned out quite good 
just color it in one direction shud do the trick..huhu
