Is the freedom clear color (expo) worth to buy? I think it was RM160. Wonder if it was really limited edition and can't get it anymore once sold out?

RM132 at AF...that place got several...but I think I prefer normal version (although the clear version is limited edition). Mainly because some parts do not have internal detail at all (like the Baleena plasma cannons).

rm 132, which shop is that where i can find it? thanks.
That's price should be quite ok i think since i don't have any transparent gundams to date. I have looked at it at : dalong.net Even the stand is transparent grey. But had the idea to paint the internal frame silver and it'll show more through this clear plastics. And just need to find somethign to fit in the head. looks to hollow. |

Well...there is art supplies shops that sells markers with 0.01 pt, but you should try using an eraser to rub off excess marks.

QUOTE(Ah WanG @ Feb 5 2007, 10:29 AM) U'll need lotsa paintings compared to those of 1/100...but for the newer versions of SD, it's getting better compared to the older versions....It's better if u have airbrush....for those hard to reach areas, i suggest that u use hand brush I'm using gundam markers for those, pretty hard but ok so far This post has been edited by hitsugayat10: Feb 5 2007, 10:37 AM |

Tamiya TS spray paint can get from Tamiya Underground as well at 1 Utama. i think it's around RM 26 per can. Can have a look at a spectacular 1/12 Enzo Ferarri model there, if not mistaken costs >RM 3000
Panel lining can also be done with tamiya enamel paint and thinner. use quite watery with a toothpick. It will flow to all the cracks and lines. Then clean up with the thinner. |
