Depends on how you spent la, if eat and drink as per normal usd 10 per meal x2 + transportation 10, drink 10 = 40 and that is already quite a lot.

If you are worry, bring the 500 and exchange and use as you go, bring back the rest ... problem solved.

Visiting PP and SR end of June. Wondering if the weather is still sunny hot or has the raining season started?

Also I have some time to spend in PP between 12pm to 10pm basically check out hotel and wait for time to take sleeper bus to SR. Appreciate if anyone can suggest excursion or any places to go within this 10 hrs assuming I have visited all the tourist attraction in PP city.

I plan to use Grab in PP and SR, is it advisable? Or better to use the PassApp for tuk tuk? In terms of availability and reliability.

be aware that 1 full day of private transport by hiring a car to chaeuffer you around will cost you USD 50.

so it's correct to claim that 300 usd is enough to "travel like a boss".

IF your boss no need to eat, no need to drink, no need to stay in hotel

The last time I travel to Siem Reap back in 2006 or 2008, I booked one whole van without tour guide, it cost me USD50. Roughly the itinerary as below:
1. Pick up from airport upon my arrival in Siem Reap and visit a old ruins/temple.
2. Day trip to Angkot Wat sites
3. Pick up from hotel to airport for my departure

Basically, a meal cost me about USD 10~15 per meal included beer.

I believe USD300 is more than enough. Unless you got conned or "chopped head".

Very obvious you didn't been to Cambodia before.
Beer in Bar Street (Siem Reap) just 1 dollar
Food at restraurant in Siem Reap city around 5 - 8 USD
Breakfast at Siem Reap morning market around 2 - 4 USD
Whole grill chicken at roadside stall 5-7 USD
Grill fish at roadside stall 3-5 USD
Hired Grab Car for Inner Ring - 135,000 KHR / RM138 / 31USD
Hired Grab Car for Outer Ring - 135,000 KHR / RM138 / 31USD
Angkor 3 day pass - 62 USD

4 days 3 Night - 300 USD are far more enough. If not enough means you didn't do homework and been slaughter by local.

Remember from POST #356, Hotel & Flight Ticket are excluded.

Yes, correct for the USD prices. nod.gif
For example; pork and jiken amok is USD7.25 while fish, shrimp and beef amok is USD7.75.
Khmer noodle curry vegetables with Jiken / Pork / Fish is around USD3.50.

Probably the only "big" purchase item is the entry ticket to Angkor Wat. USD $37 for 1 day, USD 62 for 3 days and USD72 for 1 week.
