Hi, just got my G9.2 last week. The sound is superior indeed. However, I am still strugling with the acoustic sound. Anyone of you guys know how to get the acoustic sound for this unit? I tried setting the pre-amp to acoustic stimulator but it is still not acoustic enough. Sounds a little distorted though.

u can try to disable all the other fx, efx1, efx2, reverb, delay, and set the preamp at acoustic...then u just tweek from there...
for me, my eq's at bass 10, mid 4, treble 8, presence 9...and the top is at 5-6, i've added ensemble chorus and delay with minimal effect...be sure to turn off the cabinet if ur playing thru the amp and check the gain sw at the back... hope that helps... What are your accelerator and energizer settings? Push it past 12 and it may start to distort your tone.
Personally, I find the acoustic sim sounds best with the neck pickup. |
