Bro Ianho...Ur A/C Freezer Pro7 can fit into Striker ll Formula? Mine one cannot fit the fans case hit on the Heatsink around processor area

the last i sent my asus board to warranty is last year April.
Something happened, and it was funny.
I send my P4P800 Deluxe board to warranty claims coz of using SATA HDD i cant login to windows.
While i using IDE it working fine.
After a month i got the board back, i checked, it was not the model that i give to them.
I asked them, they told me the board was obsolete. so they replace me the P4P800. 
So i got no choice, force to accept it.
and after i run for 3 days, the board totally dead. 
it worst then b4.

My another asus board (low end edition), sent to warranty for 4~ 5th time, end up return a very old units and
it re soldering the chipest in.
I make a complaint, then wait another month, they sent me a brand new. (total time taken from warranty almost 6 months)

i got no idea why the warranty is like that.   
(may be someone who work at ASUS can explain to us) LOL

Well, I've put all that behind as I cudn be bothered to get all aggro over the RMA issue again. I've got a new mobo for King Kong now n will just get on with it n leave all the nightmare RMA issue behind. Just did a boot test with CPU, RAM n gfx installed n everything looks fine. Will get down to installing it n bringing King Kong back to life in the next few days. Once that's done, I can get down to starting up my Project GT40.

Here's what I did today.

Those of u who attended the LANparty wud haf seen the MagLite mod I did. I attached a MagLite Solitaire to the side of the ROM cage so that I can use the flashlight while working on the rig at night. This is so I can shine the light inside to reset my CMOS and all that. This was the MagLite mod.


I found that the light from the MagLite was not bright enuf. It's really bright for such a small flashlight but not enuf for working on the rig at night. So I got myself a nice fat blue aluminum LED flashlight n put it in the rig. 1st thing I had to do was to get a bigger holder for it coz the holder for the MagLite was too small. Here's what I used.


N here it is with the flashlight in it.


Now comes the bad news. The flashlight is just a teeny weenie bit too fat n the snowflake window scrapes on it when I put the side panel back on. So, I removed the bracket n flashlight. Relocated it onto the motherboard tray  like this. I now haf a really bright white light when I hafta work on the internals at night.

hmmmm... very nice work uncle. just wondering.... can i use a nvidia card with a xfire in a maximus formula like what uncle did??? can any1 shed some light?

mane boleh. sli nvidia onli, xfire ati onli. maximus is x38, so xfire onli. also 3rd card? 3 pci-express slot only on nvidia chipset la bro. x38 2 slot onli. and that question should not be posted here la bro. go hardware q&a.

u sure?think can if using modded bios..coz iinm i saw pcmoddingmy in SS Lanparty in Subang lastime run tri gfx..but not sure wat mobo n either 2 nvidia+1ati or 2ati + 1nvidia..

umm... if otai like u said can, who am i to say anything. me flash bios pun xbrani, what more mod bios. but if wanna xfire n sli on one mobo, SKULLTRAIL can. that one gila mobo.
