Your Decision to go or no go - Caveat Emptor

Location - Reason
1) KLIA/KLIA2 - empty trip back lose time,money and labor (current fare structure is blood sucking)
2) Genting - empty trip back lose time,money and labor (current fare structure is blood sucking), drive uphill kill your car faster
3) Flora Damansara - Access road is bad(everybone also shake), no waiting place(if your rider is not ready, hard time to find spot to park and wait), low rated riders
4) Pasar Besar Klang at Meru - high chances picking up smelly banglas....so see the name yaa (sometime they smart and use non Bangla name)
5) Nadayu28 Sunway - lotsa short distance riders (good if you wanna chase incentives )
6) Dato Keramat - Super jam area depend on time (check posting by other drivers)

No really a no go location, more of a pre-caution to avoid conflict with taxi drivers for picking up or dropping off at Pavilion. Advisable to drop off your rider/call ur rider to wait for you at this drop off point rather than main entrance where there's no place to wait and full of taxi driver hogging the road.

Why don't you enter the lobby area? There is no taxi Q there.

Nadayu28 Sunway. Riders request ride to shoplots nearby/Monash U/Sunway U.
Minimum ride 300m

Very true especially in the morning.... But if wanna chase incentive ok le....

but there is not a core area for GRAB.

Known as the Porte Cochere lobby (Shud be pronounced as Por-teh Kor-sheh I guess lah ) or Car Valet lobby. Most of the seasoned riders should know where that is.

is toll included in the fare for klia/klia2 trips?

Grab: No, driver has to manually insert the toll fares. Do remember the exact toll fares or else you might be on the losing end if u short charged your clients.
Uber: Yes, but sometimes the system may wrongly calculate the toll fares. Thus, always make sure that the toll fares are tally with the tabulated toll fares by the highway companies.

where entrance?

i vote not to go Dato Keramat. the road n traffic is sick.

then later another group from casa tropicana -> sun inns

Bayu Pandan Condo. Worse condo ever. Guard stay inside the room only will not come down. So driver must park beside go down and hand over ic/driving license to get the paper.

Go out time must do the same. Park get down the car and collect back your ID. Makan gaji buta only those guards. Wander what sort of condo management.

how far the guard house to the customer? what if you wait outside the guardhouse, will customer walk out?

if im the customer, i usually walk to the car as it make it easier for the driver

this reminds me of Cybervilla at Cyberjaya...same case, driver need go down to register

Only Block A is near. Block B, and C the furthest.
Kena go there twice, both times also riders request pick up under the block. Both times I mention to them ask change the condo management or at least the security. Stay inside aircon shake leg only.

can uber refuse to send to those listed location?

nope. riders always right. driver only kuli. work work work and say yes sir.

Uber/Grabcar did not refuse (they take all money, don't matter if the money smells like shit,car spoil going thru countless potholes/bump, after all, only the driver handle the shitty money and passengers, or run back empty and lose money,time and labor from KLIA/KLIA2/Genting)

This list is created by drivers for drivers
For each driver, it is his own decision to pickup or not

Depend on the time of the day. Morning usually jam packed. Usually at the LRT turning around the wet market area. Most of the time, not that bad.

Got one experience going through the road next to Pulapol at Jalan Semarak area at 6 pm. The traffic officer held one way of the traffic junction for 30 MINUTES!!!

uber still charge for that 30 MINS unless it's GRAB

You're stuck while going to pickup the rider or

You're stuck while on a 2km trip, because rider too lazy to walk(walking maybe only 800meters)

Worse, you're got stuck while going to pickup the rider, then stuck while on a 2km trip(uber never tells you destination)

Worse still, you miss out in incentive since you only got 1 TPH

Worse worse still, you got stuck after sending the rider

Worse worse worse still, you miss out on 2hours of incentives cosz now, there is no way to meet the TPH required since you already wasted 1Hours 30Minutes for 1 trip

On GRAB, avoid pickup as you known the trip is not worth it and save yourself 1hours 30minutes

to make it worse your rider decide to ditch you when you are on your way on the jam or when picked up d....stuck in jam together, the rider decide to walk and told you to stop the trip

OMG yes, Flora Damansara is the worse. My first time went there for Uber... Holy shit, did not expect the roads to so horrible!!!!

And have to pass through toll to reach there. Crazy!

morning session punya jalan sultan ismail also worst. Traffic police uncle giving instruction to the traffic for 20 minutes only let one junction to go.

atleast the fare during that time is more due to peak hour, plus there's hourly guarantee too, so quite good despite the jam.

yala.. i used to biasa the JAM but thing is no place to pee at KL city area. gosh~

What about within Cyberjaya ?

Previously, fare earned in this are does not warrant incentive or guarantee. Now not sure.

Got once, KL to Cyberjaya is 95.00 , can't believe.....

I hate going places which have cement bricks as road pavement. Example is Sunway and Monash area. Flora Damansara is also one of the worse place for me. Also as a part time Uber driver, I hate going to places like the mines, serdang area. For some unknown reason, most rider will request to either Kajang or Sg long area.

The Uber Partner app didn't mentioned the destination of riders right?
We can choose the riders if it got mentioned lo..

Nope no mention destination or either cash / credit payment. Must start trip then only know.
But can see rider rating. Just now got a rider rating 3.9, so low, just ignore the request.

ya ho. Can use the rating to decide whether fetch the customer or not..

First time kena to Flora Damansara. Haha. No wander why NO GO zone. Is like african community staying there. After dropping passengers and on my way out, kena ping another request. Got to turn in again. Zzz.

Got malaysian staying there? I reckon anyone owning a unit there must be hard to sell hard to rent.

Thanks a lot. Very tricky cos stated P = Parking. Who knows can drive through as well.

There is 2 entrance. Second entrance is parking B. First entrance is drop off point.

TS, I think can also add Uber / Grabcar special pickup / dropoff location. Teksi driver also don't dare to kacau. So far I know of 2 spots:

1. Zouk / Trec
2. Quill City Mall.

yang satu lagi bahagian kat depan wisma cosway tu (got small lane) that place really kereta+lorry banyak at 1pm.

if u see properly near parkson there supposed got wall right? Pavillion already demolish it. easy to drop and take passenger

It's up to you, if you don't go there, other people will.

too hilly, too much fuel consumption.
and those trips are always just going to leisure mall, less than RM5

UIA - have to enter from gate 3 which was about 2-3 km from main gate. have to register at the gate. the place itself is one big roundabout but the road became narrower due to students parked their cars at the roadside.

Damansara Damai - there's only one way to go in and out of the place. can't even go to Bandar Sri Damansara which is only next to it.

whole Cheras area - the road in the area is like a maze. must have waze on to go through this place.

Cova Villa, Kota Damansara.
Now the guard not allow Uber, grab driver to go in

Anywhere in Selayang/Jinjang/Kepong/Batu Caves/Sungai Buloh.

never gone thru dat gate..i always use main gate..
once kena stopped by guards..checking students id..

I have fetched quite a few ma pren in the past, they always give good and far trip.

you're lucky then. last time I couldn't even go near the guard. he straightaway pointed to the U-turn junction once he didn't see any UIA sticker on my car.

Their smell, when u arrive at their pickup location u have to wait for them minimum 10 minutes, they like to stop by 7e or bank and make u wait, they slam your doors really hard

avoid jalan tun perak kl..at all cost! especially evening rush hours.

Srsly, ma pren is better than smelly paki that thinks that you owe them money

ma pren GF tend to do that, guys are more cincai

i once drop off a customer at Mahkota Cheras, did three trip with mapren, offline and drive back to KL. just imagine three muscular and tall mapren came in and talking all the language u don't understand, some more it's night time.

on another trip, mapren keep asking me to drive faster despite the road condition is so terrible.
