Guide Version 2.0

Follow the steps below...

1.1 Phone
Please check this minor stuff before doing anything.
1. check your modem working or not.
2. check your computer working or not.
3. check your line ok or not. (check the dsl light i mean)
4. check your splitter ok or not.
5. try to use direct connection.
6. try to use tmnut screamyx dns.
7. go to cmd and type "ipconfig /flushdns".
8. do tmnut speedometer test. (don't on any internet application)
9. Still cannot try other ADSL modem.
10. still cannot try to use other computer.

If any of the 10 things above fails...
Call this number
1300-88-9515 (TMNut Screamyx)
1300-88-1500 (I dunno what this number for...)

Remember that you need to wait for 3~5 minutes at peak Hour. [8a.m.~12a.m.(midnight)]
You will not need to wait at all during off-peak. [12a.m.~8a.m.]

Once the Customer Service representative answer your call, remember to say:
- Hello, my name is [Mr, Ms, Mrs, Dr]
- My login ID is [login ID] (no need to say @streamyx)
- My contact number is [your HP number]
- This account is registered under [applicant's name]
The CS will answer "Thank you for your verification. May I help you?"
- I have problem with streamyx and I had done every minor precaution.
- I would like to make a report.
The CS will ask what is your problem.
- Tell him/her your problem and ask for the report number.
- Keep the report number as reference. Basically it will be 7 digit.

Wait for 2 weeks...
If they did not rectify your problem, read Section 1.2 or 1.3.
Choose the best option that suits you.


1.2 Fax
1. Use this fax number if you want to report your case:
03-77266544 (CS's Fax number 2)
03-26870000 (CS's Fax number)
03-83120099 (ex CEO's Fax number)[checked and no longer working]
03-83183734 (Zainab Hashim's fax number)

2. Please follow the formats:
- (Ready, Go!!!)
- Title
- Date when you're having problem
- Why you ask for waiver, Reason
- Report no. or maybe No's
- Your account No. (screamyx account no.)
- Your [email protected]
- Registered under whose name. Mr or Mrs who...
- (Your complaint goes here)
- (attachment of video recording and pictures of your screenshot is an advantage)
- Yours sincerely (yours truly is acceptable) and signature
- (Finish!!)

Wait for 2 weeks...
If they did not rectify your problem, read Section 1.3


1.3 E-mail
1. E-mail to this few e-mail address:
[email protected] (the worst response ever)
[email protected] (basically you will get replied by this)
[email protected] (fastest yet the best)
[email protected] (Still workable...)

2. Follow these formats:

- Date when you're having problem

1.4 Mailing Address
1. Send to the address in TM Point or this.
Preferably please use POS Express RM3 for 1 envelope.
This is just to make sure that the TM Nut's receive your letter.

I am one of the victims man.... and there are more...

u should put what the first thing u should do b4 contacting 130088## no
1. check yr modem working or not
2. check yr computer working or not
3. check yr line ok or not (check the dsl light i mean)

(the incoming phone line, modem line & telephone connected at the
right place
5. try to use direct connection

my line is not ok...
Called up 100 4 times and they say they will send a technician.
Until today, now there is no technician coming at all!

Just file a complaint to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission and you will get fast response from tmnet.

this is wat i experienced :
yesterday, phone error, cannot call in, but line working perfectly for broadband
call up 100 for telling them phone error, CS tell me technician come

yeas, technician arrived to my house an hour later, im working, mom at home.
mom let him in, the Damn technician (RUDE Mother Faker) walk in like his own mansion
screw up all my perfectly 'Hided' telephone / Lan line, yes, RJ15 & RJ45, mess up my bedroom's line, tell mom that need rewire, cost me RM50-150, give phone no. and 'Bye Bye'.

When i arrived home, mom told me the situation, Furious bout the technician, WHO THE HELL HE THINK HE'S, ROOM RAIDER??????, anyone of u like ur room been mess up by a stranger???, i din owe him any $$$.

Then, checked my phone, totally no DIAL TONE, Broadband totally off. The mother faker not solving my phone problem, yet giving me somemore.

Solution :
Go buy 12meter copper line at shopping mall, do some re-wire myself, wa-la. everything fine.......can online back.

mother faker bullsht nouse TM Technician come in messing up when i complain for phone error........u believe or not? for TM, better believe how rude their technicians are.

even the Streamyx Technician..

After they check, sure ask you re-wire / change Spliter.
They just have much reason about it~
Plus Re-Wire i heard it dont need to pay --.--" (not sure)

Usually those have prove with screenshot about the problem.
They will answer "oh.. ok la, i go check our side's port" XD
and then, your problem remain, they would left the phone number~
BUT your report is closed HOHOhohohoho!

Means there will be 2 technician?

Basically, most of the time, only 1 technician come my house.

About the screenshot, I got the video captured that my DSL blink suddenly.

They said they will close my report number, but 5 days must report back if still got problem. Which means 1st Jan, technician come your house, by 6th jan must report back if still got problem.

About the technician stuff, I think I will need to write another guide for Stupid Technician.

The Bump thread is to bump this post to 1st one, but only can be used at trade zone.

If you guys happen to get the 'DSL light blinking syndrome'... call up TM directly and ask them to send technician to fix your Streamyx port (DSLAM).

That is the fastest thing. Tell them you don't need any other assistance besides the port thingy.

No use lah..how to get them to fix for good this prob?

1. Error 678 cannot connect for 3 days
2. Techie calls up n ask to test line in morning, can connect amongst 718 password verification timeout errors, only can get 60.48/60.49 IPs
3. Stimx works from morning to 11.35am, then goes dead for every site
4. Reconnecting brings u back to error 678 again till now.

(on dialup stoneage now)

haiz.. my xperience, i call up Cust service, i inform them my modem faulty. totaly no light at all, already tried usng other modem also didnt work... then the cust serv. ask me to check rj45 cable, then he ask me to on/off modem...


WHAT THE HELL!!! i ready inform modem no light at all... after 15 minutes onphone, she open report.... she inform 2 working days...

i wait 4 days, still no technician come to my house. one guys pick up an told me, problem with cabling... waaaa... i inform him, why i can connect when using other modem... he still argued... then ask to speak to s/visor... i wait for more 10 minutes... then he inform our s/visor will call u later...

haiz....till now techncian didint replace the modem.. haiz...

Remember! When they said that the supervisor will call you back, say that I want to speak to the supervisor right now!

You must use Mr. Chua's way or else they think you're easy to bully.

I have the same thing with you... the CS said that the supervisor will call back but they didn't.
It's just a trick so that you will hang up.
