hello

I am going to BKK this Saturday 24/12 and will be there till be the 30th. My friend is based there for a project and I will be staying at his place which is in Ekkamai.

Since he will be working on those weekdays, I plan to make one day trips to Ayuttya/Kanchaburi and etc. Can anyone suggest how shall I make this one day trip possible? I mean shall I join a tour group (if such is available) or simply take train/bus and take those tuk-tuks (which might be expensive since I will be travelling alone).

Please help to suggest of possible one day trips which I can make and help to suggest relevant places/site I can purchase such tours in BKK.

What else can I do alone there?? =D
