aiyo if u google u can get some rough idea d..travel most importantly is to travel with your own liking and pace.

would be better if you could do research like what u want to eat, wherer u want to go, what u want to do..plan a rough one and post here, then we will give advise on that.

Anyone use TravelRecommend before? I travelling to Jeju & trying to get an egg wifi.

Its stated unlimited data in website but it did not say on which network & any tnc on unlimited. For instance, first 500mb on 4g, eventually change to 3g.

Anyone have this experience before? As their cs also dunno

Story please.
*

sure.
saturday 10am arrive at Incheon airport, i didnt update the clock GMT+9.
first saw KEB Hana counter nearby bagage area, miss pretty quoted me RM1=246 for small amount, no choice lose a bit.
penang able get RM1=267. i was planned earlier but late to do sweat.gif

after i went upstair finding Airasia counter to get boarding pass for return flight. rupa2 upper floor still got a few currency counter operated by different banks.
i survey a bit @Shinhan RM1=239. worse than earlier so i give up. pls change KRW siap2.

ok continue my mission to find Airasia counter, walk a few row i realise the counters are follow alphabetic. so Airasia=A, last row!
i walk a few minute to get there, took a pic as reminder too.
this moment i looking at big screens then realise the clock need to adjust. im late again, need rush to yes24 live hall.

i was blur to reload t-money. luckily their part time staff (i guess) able speak basic english, so i took AREX transit then change to regular subway train.
go meet up with a few friends under sunny day, unlike hot msia. do some activities and skip x3 until 9pm concert finish, kthxbye to friends.

my night plan was shopping and sight seeing until morning flight. so i took train to Dongdaemun for Migliore, Doota, hello APM etc... which operate at wee hours.
just a quick run outside have street food, taste so-so compared to Msia food. haha our locals still win.

easily felt boring i get to next stop Myeongdong. unfortunately i took wrong direction, catching the correct train it stops 12am. damn im stuck at a random station.

lol. what an adventure indeed. how did you get to the airport then? what did you do between then?
*
Walk out of subway, yeouido (island?). Peoples went to catch bus while i checking bus routes. Dunno which one to take so forget it dont take bus lo.

I start roaming the surrounds saw a river. Must be Hans river.
There are full with young ppl, picnic laugh.gif, live guitar +sing, cycle and some drunk. Guess they belong to university or hostel nearby. i didnt feel tired so i coss a bridge to Mapo for sight seeing +make plan for next trip hehe... with limited help from phone gps.
Got a few big building, bank & MBC tv station (fans crowded during daytime). First time see a mcdonalds but closed at midnight. Many beer bar & karaoke shop available but not the right mood for that.

Skip x3 until 4am++ the sun rises blue sky. Summer sun wake earlier rite.
I take subway to gongdeok after 5am++ they begin operation. Arex train reach incheon airport about 8am. I went to check in counter as i discovered yesterday but staff are not there yet?? Nvm boarding gate stated 8.45am i go restaurant eat first.

To be continue

Can be unpredictable, I was there last year (Busan-Gangwon-Seoul) in late Jan and it was negative the entire trip, even in Busan (-10 when I arrived). So ya, just prepare for the cold lol.

If you really cannot tahan cold, get hot packs from Artbox – best hot packs ever! Super cheap (only 1000 won each) and they stay hot for 48 hrs o.o

thanks ur surviving tips so helpful

Hi,
Thank you for your reply. I'm planning to stay nearby Seoul Station.
So do you think I'm still able to get other transportation's other than AREX? Any other subways that can link to Seoul station other than AREX?
Are the taxi's expensive?

Its mid 20s in the day, and 10+ at night now. Don't really need a jacket in the day. Some nights may be a bit chilly/windy but a light jacket will do. It's nice spring weather. smile.gif

Was in Seoul from 14 to 17 May. Very hot. And yes bigpay widely accepted in Seoul. Even small restaurant accept it. They just cucuk on machine, no pin required. Some need your signature. The rate settled rate was 3.53 and getting lower to 3.51 (pending)

im curious bigpay card is like master visa rite?
