QUOTE(Lynixx @ Apr 26 2017, 08:09 AM) Hi Guys, need some opinions here, im 2nd..the planned schedule is just a guide for me..at least i don't travel aimlessly..just curios to know that are you the type of person that would - 1.occupied your trip schedule and no time to rest. 2.planned schedule but take it east and enjoy. im asking this because i have planned many many places but i scared i not manage to go all of them. i have friend who is the first one..wake up damn early and start his itinerary..but recently until 3-4th days of his trip he get so tired and he somewhat give up some places to visit. |

QUOTE(yvonnesoo @ May 11 2017, 07:24 PM) some are near and some are not. since you have less time there i suggest you to hired a taxi to bring you around. at least you can cover more places and also they will recommend you which place of eateries and places to go.. so you will not wasting your time finding your way around apparently the taxi is like USD150 per day!https://www.trazy.com/experience/detail/jej...og-jejutaxitour |

QUOTE(sai86 @ May 14 2017, 05:54 PM) do your homework, rent a car and off you go But what if i don have international license?driving in jeju is fairly easy (damn relaxing i must say) if you know where is your destination. 1. Do homework - eg. seongsan ilchulbong (save in your google maps) 2. rent car - they will provide a local guide book and MAP (this map is important as it has most of the popular destination phone no.) 3. Key in MAP Phone No. into the GPS provided 4. Whoila, just follow the GPS just like Waze. 5. remember to adhere to the speed limit. and yeah, renting a taxi is freaking expensive in jeju compare to rent a nice comfortable car and you save ALOT!!! for more FOOOOOODSSS!!! I have been there 3 times and I rent the vehicle from KT Kumho which is very cheap once you book as member. the downside, you rent Sonata also kenot pandu laju |

QUOTE(westley0214 @ May 15 2017, 03:50 PM) Hi all sifus/experts, is it a good time to visit Korea (Seoul + Jeju Island) around middle of September? Around 12th Sep, for 8 days. i went three years ago in 1st September. It was freaking hot..Coz its still the transition period..If u wanna be slightly cooling, go in Oct..I searched online for the temperature forecast, it will be around 26 to 27 degree C. Wouldn't it be still hot? Coz I thought that time should be Autumn dy, so didn't expect the temperature to be still that high (thought should be around 21 ~ 22 degree C only). Is it OK/comfortable to walk around Seoul City and Jeju Island with this temperature? Or should I go during end of September where the temperature would be lower? Thanks in advance! |

QUOTE(westley0214 @ May 15 2017, 04:17 PM) Thanks for the great advice bro, really appreciate it. Wah..RM15k is more than enough la..If budget hotel, budget airline(AirAsia), decent spending, RM7-8k can settle everything for 2 pax..For honeymooners (2 persons), 8 days 6 nights, wife not fanatic shopper (maybe just do some moderate shopping), just decent spending, no need luxurious hotel, possible to do it under RM 15k including flight tickets? Which one will you advise, airbnb or budget hotels? If lets say u have RM15k budget, can go stay at some nice and romantic hotel, take better airlines..give your wife some good memories =) |

QUOTE(westley0214 @ May 17 2017, 04:50 PM) Just got Air Asia flight tickets to Korea in October, will be spending 11 days there. ok, looks fine. Would like to ask about whether this plan is OK: Day 1 reach Seoul around 3pm. Stay for one night. Day 2 morning straight fly to Jeju from Gimpo, stay for 3 nights. Day 5 morning fly back to Seoul. Day 5 to Day 11 spend in Seoul. Because I worry if stay in Seoul first, when need to go to Jeju, need to carry heavy luggage (extra items from shopping trip in Seoul). While in Jeju I think won't shop much kot. Is the above plan reasonable? but if u wan u can also straight away fly to jeju on the same u reached Seoul..u can take evening flight from Gimpo..Reach there then can check in.. Since that one night in Seoul macam hanging only lol |

QUOTE(westley0214 @ Jun 6 2017, 09:42 AM) Hi, do you all normally get a Korean sim card with data plan when you are in Korea? I am thinking whether I really need that, since I read online, a lot of people commented that we can get free Wifi easily everywhere. its like malaysia la..wifi everywhere but u have to keep manually connect everytime, plus the speed can be an issue too.If you do, what brand do you recommend? Mostly just need data, with call plan or without call plan also OK. My location will be Seoul and Jeju. Thanks just rent a wifi egg from ktolleh..book it from their website and collect it from the airport. |
