Anyone use TravelRecommend before? I travelling to Jeju & trying to get an egg wifi.

Its stated unlimited data in website but it did not say on which network & any tnc on unlimited. For instance, first 500mb on 4g, eventually change to 3g.

Anyone have this experience before? As their cs also dunno

please refer to my post above, just FYI.

i know it's cheap, especially for their current free 2 days promo, but the hassle is totally not worth it.

Just wondering, is this a Malaysian company/Korean company? Never seen that on the list of pocket wifi I got. I've rented Olleh from Incheon airport (I think). I was actually tempted to use my UK sim but my card doesn't cover Korea.

hey all, just want to warn you all about using the pocket wifi from travel recommends for your south korea trip.

i rented 3 units and i really faced many issues in getting a connection. i have to factory reset it daily for few hours, and the connection doesn't last long before i am forced to factory reset it again.

even their whatsapp support group can't help anything other than asking me to factory reset, and eventually their replies became slower and practically non existent.

of course, other people might not face the same problem as me, but i rent 3 units and all 3 had issues, so it's up to you if you want to rent it.

Ahhh. Alright. No wonder I've never heard about it before. I've always travelled around with my sim card since my sim allows me to use roaming/data for free in a lot of countries. Thanks!

momondo, traveloka, expedia, kayak, google flights.

depends on your budget la. if u have budget then go for full service flight like MAS, Korean air. currently only both service direct KL to Seoul route.

if no budget, AirAsia it is.

When I traveled to Japan, I used to eat onigiri everyday as my main meal there.

I just wonder is there anything I can get (cheap, halal & easier to get) as onigiri at South Korea?

Onigiri. Every single store like 7-11 have tons of them. Do take note though, they use spam/pork for some types.

Hi guys, just wondering have anyone went for a week trip to Jeju?

Planned to go with my wife on early November. We went to Jeju & Seoul 4 years back but it was quite hectic so we didn't explore much of Jeju, we did cover most of the eastern side of the island only. Both of us fell in love with Jeju and decided to go again and focus only on Jeju island alone.

I planned to go for a slow & easy trip perhaps cycling along some of the scenic olle trails & learn about the traditional korean cultures there.. Has anyone have itinerary that they could share?

Will be traveling in a group of 6 at Seoul and nami island.
Any advise? 8days7nights Sept.

Where to stay
Myeongdong?

Discover Seoul pass: 3 days, ok?

How much cash to bring?

1 day Nami island trip: book entrance & transportation from klook, reliable?

Eat at shops or street food cheaper for 6pax?

Just bring jacket for at night is around 18°C?

Activities:
Seoul pass attractions with free entrance
Hangang River ferry
Norangjin fish market
Suggestions?

Entrance fees with Seoul pass:
Seoul tower
Palaces
Grevin museum
Trick eye museum
National museum
Free 1 way arex
Free Seoul city tour bus
Free hanbok rental
Sauna

I've calculated the entrance fees above, can save more with Seoul pass. Or is there cheaper discounts?
