i have been trying to talk her out of seeing the sakura but she insist to be there and I don't want her to go there and there's no flowers and all this rushing will be for nothing.

I want October because we have more time to save up and we avoid the holidays and crowd and enjoy Japan to the fullest. I'm almost getting into an argument with her as we speak.

Why only MAS and Air Asia?

MAS usual price RM2400 +-, promo price anywhere from RM1200 to RM1700.

JAL usually can get RM1200 to RM1500. (Unless peak)

ANA usually can get RM1100 to RM1500. (Unless peak)
Air Asia the lowest with everything is around RM800-900, if you can get ANA with RM1100, it is anytime better.

If you do not mind transit, look out for Thai Airways and Vietnam Airlines, they do promo for RM700-900 all in.

this is to debunk those "radioactive" question
on average, most japan city has lower radioactive reading than most places in hong kong
so if u question is it safe to travel to japan...u should question more should u go HK or not as well

watch 1st one, around for 10mins, rush to snap night rainbow bridge, n rush back for the others.
if u plan it well, u can get 600yen 24 hours specific pass. i used twice 24hr Tokyo Metro Pass, while Suica all the way the rest.

the trip that require u to go out more than 4 stations tat u can use in 1 particular train/sub company (Toei or Tokyo Metro)

on 1 of my day, i commute from Nakano-Sakaue (staying there) to Tsukiji, to Ginza to Tokyo Station to Shibuya to Shinjuku (meet up with my brother) then to Nakano-Sakaue.
since im using purely Tokyo Metro, n if the price im using more than 600 yen, i will save money by using the 24hr pass.

most of the day i use suica due to price commute doesnt exceed more than 600 yen (or the pass price) n require me to change train/sub provider.

I would like to share some tips traveling in Japan especially when you take side trips. Most of you may know about this but some may not if it's your first time to Japan.

For my next trip to Japan in Feb, I'll be travelling to Tokyo first then to Nikko and then back to Tokyo. Normally ladies like me will surely have a big luggage ^^ and I do not want to lug this all the way on the train and buses from Tokyo to Nikko and high possibility in deep snow too. What I will always do, prior to my trip to Japan, I will email to my hotel in Tokyo telling them about my travel plans and request to send my luggage to the hotel first. If the hotel is ok to accept my luggage few days earlier before my check-in date, only then I'll proceed to send my luggage when I check-out from the first hotel. All this can be done via the hotel receptionist at a minimal fee. Just make sure you have the correct address and your name is same with your booking name. It will be nice to attached the email as proof too.

Besides that, this saves cost too. You can actually opt to store your luggage at the train station but for few days storage it's not cheap. The hotel does not charge anything

Refer to the above, on 14th Feb, when I check-out of the hotel in Asakusa, I will ask the receptionist to arrange send my luggage to hotel in Ikebukuro. How they send? They will use Takuhaibin, it is a kind of courier service company.

I traveled 4 cities ( and 2 towns ) in 11 days visit, obviously too rush but still ok if you know what you want to visit/experience.
