Hi!
If my flight scheduled to arrive at haneda airport at 10.30pm (air asia flight), do you think a family with small children has enough time to catch up the last train?

last haneda express train is 12.05 or 11.50 for the rapid. assuming ur family n kids can run for a bit, then yes. immigration in japan is very fast.

if ur travel date is SUPER PEAK eg christmas/newyear/cny
the immigration is havoc, with super long queue
i go during CNY, just enuf to catch the last train... after 12am
(ps: i oso study the route from immigration to the train station b4 and the ticket purchase method,
this might speed up the travel time)

and u r abit lucky, i saw few time the parent with toddle can skip queue

Hey, I want to travel Tokyo(1 week) adnd Central Japan(not Kyoto, Nara, Kobe or those, been there before alrdy). By central Japan, I mean Nagoya, etc. I have 2 weeks in Nagoya. For Tokyo, I have researched and somewhat came up with an itinerary. I am exploring Tokyo for 6 days and on the last day, I will take a bus to Mount Fuji. Is there any route from Mount fuji to Nagoya? Night Bus would be better, if there's any. In the net, I can barely find any blogs regarding central Japan and have a hard time in researching. Even on this forum, there isn't much info. I love Traditional Japan compared to modern Japan, to be honest coz everything is skyscrapers, malls and shops. Any life experiences in Nagoya/Central Japan? I want to scrape some information over here hehe

Hi Ladies,

Just a question to those ladies who have experienced the onsen in Noboribetsu. I just booked a hotel in Noboribetsu for the CNY eve, and my 2 teen daughters found out from their classmates that all have to be naked (only a piece of hand towel allowed) in the public female onsen.

Both of them are very uncomfortable and shy now .... May I ask, is that the real situation for all public onsen in Japan?

im guy... but i still can answer your question

(most) japanese style public pool... have to naked...
yes, there are some pool you have to wear ur swimming wear
u need to hunt for it... (im not sure noboribetsu hv it or not)

if they shy, they can go during morning time... eg 5am
which virtually nobody there

or u can book private pool...

end of story

u can actually asked them to test the water first
jus take a spin around changing area or the dry area
spy on see obasan body first brows.gif

---
if u interested, Daiichi Takimotokan hv the most onsen in one hotel
(7*2 different pools + sauna + swimming pool)
https://www.tripadvisor.com.my/Attraction_R...u_Hokkaido.html

they also hv unisex swimming pool+jacuzzi, which you must wear ur swimming wear
but the cons part... u hv to enter the naked area before you can goto swimming pool area
a good place to meet up with ur family member there
