Do ANA usually have promo? at the moment the cheapest i found is about RM1300-RM1400.

When is usually the peak season?
*

yeah i checked japan-guide too, Kiyomizudera temple undergoing renovations atm so its off limits. so will be walking around that area only. lunch most prolly around Kyoto Station, heard lots of good ones albeit pricey

whats next after Fushimi Inari? not sure, there are street stalls around there we can visit and lots of wandering about i suppose. climbing to peak should take most of the time

if youre asking about whats on next day, most likely visit Imperial palace before heading to Osaka
*
i dun think there anything much around Fushimi Inari. as i mentioned b4, i cramp Fushimi Inari, Uji n Nara in a day trip. so basically i went there b4 sunrise n left b4 any store opens.

if u goin Kyoto Imperial Palace, i would suggest u can try to visit Kamogawa Delta. u can stop at Demachi Yanagi Station (Keihan line) n visit Kamogawa Delta b4 proceed to Kyoto Imperial Palace.

OK, thanks for great info. Looking at JAL website, it looks like we can only book Tokyo to KL and then return to Tokyo? How to book KUL - TOkyo - KUL?? hmm.gif
*
Why not? Just click the the arrow to expand the flight search option.

They actually have promo all year long, the price only varies by a few hundred depending on season. Full price (Eg: > RM2000 if you really bad luck means that flight very full)

ANA using B787, so it wouldn't be any bad.

The same goes to JAL.

By the way, if anyone is going Kenrokuen for Night Illumination

Just take note that you need to leave the park before 5pm (they close at 5pm) and you can only re-enter at 5.30pm. Or if you just want to go for illumination, just wait for the queue at 5.30pm (it's free for night viewing!)

the queue was kinda long initiallly but not as bad as the one at Kiyomizudera last week haha

Hi Guys,

Can PASMO or SUICA Cards used in Kyoto and Osaka Buses/Tram/Subway?

Do you normally buy 1 day pass in area like OSAKA or KYOTO.

I will be arriving to Shin-Osaka Station but I don't think the station sells any 1 day pass. sad.gif think they are selling 1 day pass in Tourist Center in City center.

Appreciate the advice.

Thanks in advance.

can use but i recommend getting those bus day pass in kyoto coz very cheap. to get to all those popular spots in kyoto, ppl mostly use bus n walk. wit day pass u can just hop on hop off easily. u can get bus day pass directly on the bus. my weekend getaway to kyoto i used bus only to finish everything in kyoto, the only time i take subway is when i go fushimi inari.

note bus day pass is different than those subway jr day pass.

I will share my trip experience during Nov'16, Is a 8 day trip. I used around rm4000 per person exclude accomodation and flight.

You might want to consider travel to kyoto first then osaka, so you no need repack your luggage.

I stayed at airbnb for the whole trip for kyoto and osaka, I able to find around my budget around RM150-220 per night, you might need to read carefully on the description, as some of the room doesn't include bathroom, you also can save some money if you get wifi egg from the host.

Most of the station will be like 1-2min to each station but will be cramp during morning working hour.

Little correction here.
Subway
JR
Kintetsu
Hanshin
Are all independence company.

Should be like this:
note bus day pass is different than those subway, jr day pass.

Without , later he will think subway and JR are same company.
