Hello from Tokyo. Just a note. If you're Malaysian traveling alone, you'll be pulled over at Custom for full inspection. I asked why, he said single traveler. Fine. I asked why again, he said only Malaysian. I diam. And walked away. Gosh. Me face problem, or any others also kena like that?

how do they even know if you're travelling alone anyway?

Are you using a new passport? My friend kena tahan and had to open her bag for checking. I went earlier than her and had no problem and she had to check her bag. I assume her passport is brand new.

Here are my latest plan
D1-Arrive KIX *Night

D4-Nara (Kansai Thru Pass 2 day tix)
D5-Kobe (Kansai Wide Area Pass)
D6-Arashiyama (Kansai Wide Area Pass)
D7-Kinosaki Onsen (Kansai Wide Area Pass)
D8-?? Undecided between Mt. Koya or Wakayama (Kansai Wide Area Pass)
D9-Last day, Night Flight

Is it feasible or worth for me to buy passes? Kindly recommend which are more suitable. Do recommend any places that i should go to as well, im still undecided on what to do on Day 8.

Thank you in advance!

Guys need help, anyone been to kawaguchiko to gora ropeway station ?

I search on internet, the fastest route i can find is

Kawaguchiko station -> gotemba premium outlet (more bus here) -> gora station

Is that the best route ? Any other direct public transport that I can reach gora instead of stopping other places ?

Not possible also. My passport was a brand new. First stamp is from Japan immigration. No check. I passed the checking counter like less than 5 minutes. He just asked to take off my cap, thats all. And it was 21st Oct.

That's the fastest route.

Gotemba is like the interchange place to change buses. Because buses in Kawaguchiko don't go all the way to Hakone (vice versa)

I pressume wind breaker for tokyo should be enough ? Last time did the same for my Korea spring .....

How bout Hokkaido ? It varies from 3 to 11 and sometimes snow too. Do I need to buy winter clothes here or jus buy at Japan ? As aldy off season there should be cheaper right ?
