How come I see the return ticket for May 2017 is about 2,500?
Of course got peak season no promo also I'm sure. Not everyday you will get promo fares.
My comment is don't bother with those ¥2k-ish buffets you listed. At most they give you snow crab legs? Want to eat crab then go all the way and find somewhere that gives you king crab or hairy crab, otherwise don't bother.

With this price, you only can get hairy crab. which is similar to Shanghai ''大闸蟹'' Hairy Carb are lowest class crab in Japan Crab list
Thanks for the advice, Deodorant & RegentCid. Will let them know and probably go to Kani Doraku.
Then?just do a day trip there? Don't forget, this person only have 5days in Japan.

He has 7 full days, minus 1 for Disney Sea. IMO 6 days is too much just for Tokyo, he can easily do an overnight trip to Nozawa Onsen, ski for 2 full days.
I will agree with michlove here, with only 6 days I wouldn't take out 2.5 days of it to go Nozawa Onsen. Also, "6 days too much for Tokyo" is crazy talk, I've spent 15 full days in Tokyo alone (spread over several trips) and still haven't seen all I want to see in the city.
Having said that, different ppl like different things of course If fuadfadzreally wants to go ski then he could probably take an evening shinkansen & taxi, ski 1.5 days, 2nd day afternoon go jigokudani monkey park then head back to Tokyo. 2.5 days out of 6.0.
#throwback to my nozawa onsen trip last Feb ... this is my wife's 1st 2nd day of ski'ing, I think consider quite good liao
Wanted to go again this winter but shifting into new house, renovation costs sky high so no budget for holidays until wawasan 2020
