those who want to rent pocket wifi, i think better be fast
travel recommends still RM13/day
wiyo on the other hand is now RM20/day..no more RM12

thanks for sharing the info. the price seems quite reasonable.

comparing these 2 Travel Recommends and Wiyo, which one is better in term of internet speed?
any problems?

i'm not sure which one to get... so getting some feedback from you guys would be very helpful to me.
thank you in advance.

have used travelrecommend portable wifi before for my tokyo trip last month..speed wise is okay around 30mbps... the service provider is softbank but once in a while have to restart the portable modem because the connection seems lost. i give rating 8/10 for the price i pay.. easy pickup and drop off.. the booth at klia open 24 hours.

Anyone been to Niseko Grand Hirafu before? I have gone through their website and the lift prices and I was so confused which ticket should I go for.

I'm going with my family so there will be me and some elderly, they won't go for ski for sure but I like to go for snowboarding for maybe like half day at least, so can anyone advice me what kind of tickets should I purchase for myself and my family members?

Is it your first time? For first timer go ski/snowboard should be at bare minimum one full day, otherwise you might as well don't bother and just go build snowman in the corner.

Anyway this one kua. http://www.grand-hirafu.jp/winter/en/gelande/lift.html ... 5hr pass ¥4,200 1 day pass ¥5,500. Note that jacket, pants, snowboard rental etc will cost you another ¥4-5k per day.

[edit] On an unrelated note ... #throwback to last year Feb moi wife ski'ing in nozawa onsen

Hi all,
I'm going to Tokyo in Dec and manage to find these 2 places that have crab legs buffet -
a) Shinjuku Prince Hotel - Prince Viking (abt Jpy2800)
b) Tokyo Station Buffet Chisozammai, Daimaru Tokyo (abt Jpy2200)

Any comment on which is better or any other places with similar price. Appreciate your comments. Thanks.

Who knows? We don't know your travel style. Check out Japan Guide for estimate: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2410.html

Appreciate your comments.

My comment is don't bother with those ¥2k-ish buffets you listed. At most they give you snow crab legs? Want to eat crab then go all the way and find somewhere that gives you king crab or hairy crab, otherwise don't bother.

With this price, you only can get hairy crab. which is similar to Shanghai ''大闸蟹''
Hairy Carb are lowest class crab in Japan Crab list
