QUOTE(buffa @ Oct 15 2016, 05:39 PM) Hi, I would like to confirm I want to go to Osaka station from Kyoto station and I have JR Pass for it. Yep, I second the earlier confirmation. You should be fine using these trains with a JR Pass, although you might have to pay extra for a reserved seat. From hyperdia, I found there are 2 type of train go Osaka station from Kyoto station without transit 1. LTD. EXP THUNDERBIRD 32 2. JR Special Rapid Service for BANSHUAKO Does that mean my JR Pass only eligible (free) for the 'JR Special Rapid Service for BANSHUAKO ' If I take "LTD. EXP THUNDERBIRD 32", I have to pay for the fees? Some other options for Osaka to Kyoto .. How Much Does it Cost to Travel From Osaka to Kyoto? |

QUOTE(Bliz @ Oct 18 2016, 09:38 AM) Used it in my last trip. Coverage is good, except Arashiyama suffer a bit signal degradation, but considerable since its mountainous area. Other than that, unlimited full speed, which i can do anything. Done a speed test which the speed is always between 5 mbps to 30 mbps depends on the location. |

Nice feedback - booking mine as well - I was just contemplating to go with Celcom Roaming at RM138 for 1 week but I guess this option is better. While at it need a little suggestion: Will be arriving at Narita - do I just get the N'EX TOKYO Round Trip Ticket or is there a better option? Just did a rough planning and you are right. 5k is enough. I am looking into flying on the last week of April and coming back on the second week. Damn myr currency is so bad these days. Ugrh. Anyways i have a rough idea from reading the comments Kuching to KL then to Osaka. Three days there. Then another two in between somewhere I haven't decided and ultimately spending another three days in Tokyo. I'll read up more |
