Hey fellow travelers, I have almost completed my itinerary for my Japan trip from Feb 18 - 24. However, I have few issues would like to check with those who experienced in traveling to Japan. Your advice will be greatly appreciate.

Day 1 (Sat) - Land Japan morning time and free & easy at Shinjuku (Staying around shinjuku area)
Day 2 (Sun) - Empty at the moment
Day 3 (Mon) - Tsujiki Fish Market, Ginza/Chuo, Taito, Sumida-ku visit
Day 4 (Tue) - Lake Kawaguchiko
Day 5 (Wed) - DisneySea
Day 6 (Thu) - Free and easy to Meiji Shrine, Yogogi park, Shibuya Shopping
Day 7 (Fri) - Back to KL

I am actually pondering if I want to swap my Lake Kawaguchiko to Sunday as I do not want to have two days straight to travel extensively. But Sunday I worried that might be too jam as many visitor even Japanese are heading there as well. If push Lake Kawaguchiko to Sunday and DisneySea to Thursday, I have 3 days space in between for me to travel around Japan and I can buy the 72 hours pass to go around.

Need all the advice from travelers. Please let me know if which is better. Or you could share with me a better planning.

Thank you!

hey there, thanks for the advice. My long distance traveling are all day trips, as my gf did not want to stay there. Also not to mention the hotel there are quite expensive also. Hence the day trip. If go on Saturday it is going to be very hectic for us as luggage are still with us. We arrive Narita approximately 7.30am. While wait for luggage, check on the tourism counter information, etc.. I think we only get to leave airport around 9.30am.

We will be staying in Shinjuku via Airbnb for the entire vacation. tongue.gif

Yes I noticed the checkin check out time. Even Airbnb also they follow that timing. laugh.gif

My flight back to KL is at 10am. So that day confirm cannot use. And I am figuring what ways should I use since we have luggages and need to rush. Friday I think usually the train would be pack during morning? The last resort for me should be by car.

Day 1 challenge is that if you have enough time to rush to Tsujiki incase of any delays from your flight, delay on your luggage and stuff.

Do anyone know what time Tsujiki outer fish market closes? If is 12pm then I also want to change my itinerary to this. Go straight from airport and spend the day @ Ginza first. laugh.gif

Also, what are the best route to travel from Narita Airport Terminal 1 to Tsujiki?
- Narita Skyaccess from Narita Airport Terminal 1 to Higashi Ginza? Only ¥1330 per pax without seat. hmm.gif

hi guys, would like to get an estimate cash yen needed to exchange for my next week trip. travel location is Osaka and Kyoto for 7 days.

if i were to eat streetfood, 7-11, mcD, some ramen shop like ichiran and very rare of exclusive dining. can i say RM50 a meal is safe? say i eat 3 meals per day that will be RM150 and RM50 for transport to top up my icoca card.
that would make it rm200 per day cash for food and travel hence RM1.4k for 7 days.
and top up rm1k for shopping, so is it safe to exchange RM2500 to YEN cash?

and can someone help to verify the ATM card we use here in Malaysia like Maybank atm card can withdraw cash from 7-11 or japanpost?

std meal price @restaurant normally ¥700/pax/meal
some fastfood ¥500, or slightly expensive ¥1200
this is the price range... with free green tea 😁
---
7-11 bread normally ¥150/piece
onigiri, instant noodle, etc all under ¥300
---
since u r going to osaka, u might interested in octo ball and cabbage pancake... this might drive up ur budget 😅

Hi ,

My family went to Hakone on a 1 day trip 2 years back . Not too rushed but definitely excludes other points of interest. Enjoyable although ticket for package is valid for 2 days. You need to start early though. Started from homestay at Shibuya. No time for option in itinerary. Took dinner before going back to Tokyo.
