Thanx for sharing. Juz a suggestion, if it is not too hassle/troublesome, try wearing your Sivali on yr right and the good LP on yr left (the opposite of what yr arrangement is now) as it is a norm to arrange the more senior/higher ranking guru/deva/saints on the right. (Sivali, direct disciple of the Buddha is more senior than the good LP u r wearing)..

Selipo, thanks for the info. I will amend accordingly.

Thanks

Just wanted to ask.. What do you guys think of the shop selling thai amulets in Jalan Imbi same row with Sakura Restaurant? They have lots of really expansive amulets there.

I saw one more than 90+k there (tok raja pita if not mistaken)

In reply to a question as to why monks make spiritual entities such as Lokok, Guman, male/female ghost, I opine it would be beneficial to share some insight here. Apart from practising the Buddhist teachings, monks make amulet to help devotees in their aspiration and daily lifes (metta, luck, wealth, protection, etc) and in some cases even the spiritual beings. In the case of Lokok and Guman, these baby spirits die unborn or very young. They don’t have enough karma to be born as a normal person, so after death their spirits wander around, without any direction as they don’t possess sufficient good karma to be reborn as human. So, in compassion, masters/monks turn these baby spirits into Lokok and Guman so that they can help their adopted "parents" in protecting their family, property and business and in the process accumulate good karma until it's enough for rebirth as human.
Similarly, male/female ghost are made to help beings that die an untimely/tragic death so that their spirits can accumulate enough of good karma by helping their masters in protecting them, their family, ushering business to a point where their good karma is sufficient for reincarnation as human.
With this reasoning of compassion, the act of making Lokok, Guman and male/female ghost is in alignment with the Buddhist teaching of metta and compassion and there's nothing wrong but instead merit in it. However, this act of merit would be defeated in its purpose if the subsequent masters/owners of these spiritual beings do not have the proper insight in using them. Using them for good purposes helps/enrich the owners and the spirits themselves while using them for harm is detrimental to both the owner and the spirit's karma. In this case, the spirits will accumulate more bad karma thus prolonging their suffering. Therefore, the correct understanding is very important for those who intend to adopt spiritual beings less they do more bad than good to both themselves and the poor spirits.
The above is the rationale used by masters who follow the Buddhist teachings in making spiritual entities. Masters/witchdoctors who practised animism/folk religion may also produce similar spiritual entities under different rationale or principle.

The last 3 images are definitely LP Thuad, but back images not shown, so can't be sure from what temple. But generally LP Thuad amulets that are properly consecrated from temple can be used, provided that u sincerely chant his katha and pray for His help sincerely/earnestly and He will come to yr aid..

Any brother here know the information of this monk, apparently famous in kelantan, know as Than Di. Attached herewith of his picture. I saw one of his pitta selling for RM3000 (temple price) [somewhere in the month of October 2009]. I was there on 7th December 2009 where my friend wanted to rent the pitta amulet that cost RM3,000.00. But it was rented out alreadly.

Got this pidta from a monk in Kelantan. Was looking for something for protection and general wellbeing, was actually looking for a luong phor thuad to put in the car, but then was given a Luong Phor Kun scroll for the car and pidta.

Anyone knows where its from?

Any help will be appreciated ...
