I got only 2 LPT amulet and 1 statue left.
Nothing special la.
Will post some picture when i can.
Dude, I thought all modern Somdej Wat Rakang got a blue ink chop from the wat at the back of the amulet? I used to have one too.
*
if you talk about wat rakang 108, there are 2 type actually. the front is same but behind got 2 type. one is use blue ink chop like kinda signature, the other type is actually blue chop like a old clock (Wat Rakang symbol). Both actually is for Ah Zhan Do passed away 108 years anniversary.

Do you have Wat Rakang 100 years anniversary ? It is actually not somdej face, but Ah Zhan Do sitting inside the clock...very nice amulets...worth to keep also... icon_rolleyes.gif

skeleton?
Or was it a kumantong?
I never see a khunpaen with skeleton.
yap...there is lot of model with kumantong at the bottom..one of them is made by LP Daeng 2500, about 49 years ago. but LP Tim did come out a khun paen with skeleton at the bottom, some of them are only come with one skeleton , some of them are with 9 skeleton...

yes correct, Dharma Protectors 护法神 will protect those who practise the Dharma (note that the holy books of other religions are also considered the Dharma by the Buddhas), so we dont really need material things for protection, moreover amulets things were never taught by the Buddha.

but we also cannot simply write off the power of amulets, a lot of people were unharmed in car accident and found their amulet broken into half or shattered inside the cover, i have a friend he visited Sydney Old Town, he took a picture of himself in an old head-chopping board, when he came back his amulet broke into half exactly at the head of the Buddha.

lol, you are not chinese? how come cannot understand chinese english.

he had a picture taken in the head cutting stand, you know in ancient time the criminals were executed in this stand, where they lock the hands and head on the same level and release a big sharp knife from the top to cut off the head, after that he found his amulet broke into two pieces, head and body.

The first and the last one are LuangPor Thuad which you can recognise by looking at the old monk sitting on a lotus. He is one of the most holiest and famous monk in thai ever.
The third and forth are Phra Pidta like what accessdenied said.
Pidta model are usually a chubby buddha sitting with crossing legs and covering it's face. I heard they wear Pidta for wealthiness.

I cant recall the other similar amulets which cover not only face but body with many pair of hands. Is it something like Aranhang?? Is it said people wearing it may grant with great fighting spirit like wearing hanuman. Although I dont quite believe this stuff.

Ya. I believe it only work with great believe and the right heart.
Don't expect things like you will get girl or win lottery when wearing KhunPaen or wearing some 9 amulets at once and go rob a bank.
Doesn't matters an old or new amulet. Just make sure you get the genuine one from your Ajahn, wearing it with respect and such. A big miracle may happen or it may not. But at least their bless stay with you.

I personally heard and read a lot of miracle wearing an amulet.
My favourite one are the LP Khoon amulet that let this man live after hitting by 20 over bullets. All the bullets broke his shirt and stuck right at the outer skin. I saw the picture with his back all bullet wound. Wow. And the minister that survive in a car with m16 bullet holes all over like bee nest.

It's called the guillotine.

My friends KhunPaen also broke into two pieces at home while he is having an accident outside. Wonder what happen if the amulet is an metal/bronze one. haha.

I see. Sounds interesting. But also sounds like erm... sign of bad luck? Heard of cases like, before involving in an accident, something belongs to the person break of spoil.

Any idea why Phra Pidta is a chubby monk and covering his face?
Any meaning behind covering the face? like See No Evil? or whatever?
How will it work to be wealthy by wearing Pidta? easier to gain promotion if working or business contact will increase for businessman? or do you mean strike lottery?

The amulet which grant people fighting spirit are usually worn by who? Muay Thai Fighters? Isn't Hunuman a Hindu worshiped deity? Monkey God. Which monk will give out Monkey God's amulet?

I gotto agree with you that these amulets only work on people with strong faith and most importantly, a good heart. The recent malay mail reported that the gang who robbed Subang Parade's Poh Kong were all wearing amulets. Similar to Botak Chin's and BetongKali's. Yet one of the gang members were killed, same goes to Botak Chin and Betong Kali last time. They were all wearing amulets. Why still the amulet powers doesnt work? probably they are using it for a bad intention.

Sorry for asking so many questions. I'm a Theravada Buddhism practitioner, these amulets thinggy are VERT new to me even my dad collects some of them, he doesnt know about it.
