if u decided to change factions, there's a way to do it.

2 different NPCs in lower city will give you the option to do so by submitting stuff to them. only available if you're hated with one faction. if neutral on both factions, both NPCs don't let u do it.

my thoughts exactly. then again, it's a toss-up between running instances or the rep turn-ins for increasing sha'tar rep. it's something like 50% Sha'tar rep for every Rep point for Scryer or Altor faction?

i'm taking it easy with BC. leveling, instancing and raiding is big headaches in itself.

There is a lady in Lower City which ask for Dread Venom Sags from spiders in Netherweb Ridge. Each turnin gives 250 rep towards aldor and -250 rep to scryer. It's a farming spot so you're going to have to tag the mob fast.

She has a Quest Mark when you're unfriendly with Aldor. Once on Neutral, no more turn-ins. Head over to Khadgar and select your Friendly faction again.

but if u catch them by surprise, a fire mage will go down faster than a frost mage.

yes it can balance up to neutral if you didn't select the faction yet. to do this, just head over to the bank person and it will automatically put u on neutral.

however, once you've selected the faction from khadgar, they automatically one is hated and the other is friendly.

why u wanna change rep? difficult road woah.

only for crafting and materials. the weapons and gear will get replaced easily.

aldor for the tailoring recipes? +heals ones anyway.

for the JC recipes, i wouldn't be so bothered about choosing scryer or aldor coz you can always get one of your guildies to help you out to make gems of the other faction.

but tailoring recipes are BoP so choose wisely.

if u've already started hitting karazhan, the weapons from scryer / aldor not so good anymore but the crafting ones, might be good if the black temple starts. suspect that bosses there will cast arcane/fire magic.

when i was feral, i decided with scryer. am still with them even after resto.

True. It was a choice that I made because I actually didn't intend to go Resto. But because it was hard to find a good healer that is GMT+8 friendly for 5-man instances, I respec to healer.

The primary reason was for the great staff (feral druid can still support heal) and for the LW recipes. I'm having a hunch that Arcane Resistance will probably be more useful as one levels up. Also, the stats for an item can be beefed up with the blue sockets.

With healing, losing about 10-30 +heals didn't seem such a big deal. It is only one shoulder enchant. I'm hitting about 993 heals atm and that's without +heals enchants. My aim is to get over the 1K heals line before heading into raids. My pride and joy is a helm that has +116 heals.

Up to you. For some folks it matters because they might not have much options in getting other uber gear.

It's a lot easier to get the Scryer staff compared to the Sha'tar's healing mace. But at the end of the day, it's really up to you.

lol! then probably look at factions as money earner. not from rep grinding but from the quests.
