Anyway, I couldn't find HWM booth, end up buying 3 PC.COM for 10 bucks.

Im only pissed at PC.CON mainly for doing such a crappy promo n not being smart enuf to cover their asses. Like WTF.
Im ok with the rest. None the less I got the HS315 for RM190 without any tradeins.. so I'm happy with it. As for the the other 2 fellas.. pateagle n that other fella.. Ive got no beef with u guys.

we sharing booth with panasonic. u must have missed it becus the whole booth is blue color.. ehm..

i didn't say VMCC's campaign didn't i ? I was commenting on the Visit Malaysia Year which is VMY 2007 if you didn't get it correctly in the first place.

I call a visit malaysia year campaign failure as we can see that it is not trying to promote what malaysia is, instead it was trying to promote all those artificial stuffs. Who need that eye on malaysia ? who needs that watersky lazer show ? Journalist from other countries were invited for a trip by the ministry of tourism but they weren't brought to a lot of places and most of all not allowed to take any footage ! That's what i called a failed attempt, a not planned properly attempt. Someone once said, why are we proud of KLCC when it's designed by a brazilian ( if i'm not mistaken ) and built by korean and japanese companies ? Killing off the belum-temenggor forest isn't helping with our tourism too if the governent haven't realise.

exkay, I couldn't agree more with you. All these promotions are missing the boat. Do we actually know what visitors really want to come to Malaysia for?

From my conversations with foreign visitors, the things they love most about Malaysia are:
1. the natural countryside ie our forests.
2. the people (racial diversity living in harmony).

Hardly anyone mentions our buildings and other man-made draws as anything special or worthy to come to Malaysia for.

But more and more we are destroying the very things which made Malaysia unique and praiseworthy in the eyes of the world, and we are becoming more like the artificial world we hate.

Malaysia boleh? I cringe everytime I hear this phrase. Malaysia sudah boleh! tapi satu hari tentu tak boleh lagi.

It;s not malaysia boleh, it's malaysia bodoh !
