There is one booth belong to SPR (Suruhanjaya Pilihanraya Malaysia).  It won't take u more than 3 minutes (unless there is a long queue). Thanks for reminding everyone here! thumbup.gif

It's at Hall 5, behind the VMCC booth 505. Or rather, at the left corner, right behind against the wall where all the redemption counters are.

to be honest, your repo has gone down since the last PC fair wink.gif
we are merely stating the obvious laugh.gif
What "honesty"? Something is very wrong here. You are referring to PC.com's reply at http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=11202953 and you conveniently omitted here as a reference.

Take a look at the Aztech promo ad again at http://www.aztech.com/retail_malaysia/promo_offer.html
1. Under Terms and Conditions, in red, "This trade in promotion is valid only in East Malaysia
2. The ad also lists Aztech Sabah's office contact details at the bottom of the page.

Now, that is is stating the OBVIOUS.

jack_jo_jo, pateagle and PC.com, we know the real story adi lerrr doh.gif doh.gif

want to con also learn how to cover your tracks with coconut leaves la la laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

So there... the REAL story as above and don't drag me or VMCC into it.

Be responsible for what you write - check your facts first instead of joining the fray and jumping the gun. It only reflects badly on you.

and by the way, if you want to drag others down by posting nonsense about your competitors, use FACTS instead of blindly stating them. its already damaging enough that you have to use guerrilla tactics like creating three accounts on one weekend instead of building rapport with the community here first.
What talking you? From what I've read so far, you and shumaky has been at PC.com's throat. Just to name one - see http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=11160722

Yup! biggrin.gif You are right! Its a national campaign and we must support wholeheartedly! PC.com and HWM have done a good job! Hurrayyyyyyyy  rclxms.gif
Kev da man, you have unethically and unprofessionally lumped me with Jack_Jo_Jo and PC.com for deceiving the public and smeared all our reputation without checking your facts first.

I leave it in the good hands of LYN Staff and Moderators to deal with you on this issue.

you have done something wrong in the eyes of this forum. sorry for dragging se7en and the team into a small squabble, but then again, i can't stand people who misuse the community and not giving back to them.

i know what i did, not pat, its your time to 'fess up.

ROFLOL! Now i get it! biggrin.gif No wonder you accused me and jack_jo_jo being the same person. jack_jo_jo was at VMCC booth when i was reading the posts at LYN Forum from one of the computers for the Most E-Cards Sent Challenge lah. To cut to the chase, after explaining the confusion to him, he wanted to post too.

You so clever, check the IPs again... see if jack_jo_jo has been posting from the same IP as me since his first post. Now i understand why you provoke at http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=11171918 icon_rolleyes.gif

I'm no techie, but how come PC.com IP the same 202.73.13.110 which is a broadband line rented from KLCC? Just curious.

Me posting from PC.com's office?!? That's a first! rclxub.gif

No matter how gung-ho, I'm not "defending" anyone. I only seek to clarify or put things right. Just as I've informed Aztech about the error in their brochure when Vex first brought it up to my attention here which has since been rectified - see http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?act=ST&f...0#entry11149507 smile.gif

A pretty cool tool. Question: what's the URL to check IP location? I tried http://www.ip-address.com/ but goes to a web hoster's page instead.

Cheers!

then its better that you have explained from the start to avoid such confrontations, and btw, that jack_jo_jo guy did not help matters when he/she started false accusations in a forum where he absolutely has no footing on. hence, people like me who have been eating such noobs for breakfast lunch and dinner will automatically chew him/her up.

I didn't get it and was frazzled why you lumped me with jack_jo_jo till you brought up the IP thingy. Only then it made sense why the flames were pointed at me too shakehead.gif

I thought it was a "fight" between HWM and PC.com fans and hence, kept my comments to the bare minimum and unless i can add my 2-sen constructively. E.g. telling jack_jo_jo not to run any magazine down as seen at http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=11174389 rolleyes.gif

QUOTE(kev da man @ Apr 17 2007, 05:51 PM)
its always better to build rapport in a forum where you're trying to gain support for your activities rather than come in with guns ablazing and acting like you own the place. so there, without proper planning, you get unfavorable standings from forumers like exkay and me like the example found in post #667.

cheerio!
Couldn't agree with you more.

Cheers! icon_rolleyes.gif

Very helpful indeed. You did not answer the question. Maybe you don't even know the answer! shakehead.gif

BTW, i just found the meaning online. See http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=noob

I like #2 answer best! "...or someone calling someone else a noob and then getting hit with a brick, anyone can call anyone a noob, but normally they are noobs themselves" whistling.gif

BTW, I only ASKED what's a noob. Get it? brows.gif

Well, Exkay, as i've mentioned at http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=11174389

"It is really not easy to run a national campaign on a shoe-string budget. VMCC is a people-led campaign, not funded by political parties and the likes. We are running this campaign not only to support Visit Malaysia Yearr 2007; we are also demonstrating in action, "Malaysia Boleh" in its proper perspective. I can write a loooong story on this. Instead, when you are free, have fun reading the answers to the Quiz - What's "Cyber Warrior@Work"? at http://vmcc.com.my/forums/viewtopic.php?t=241 "

In other words, "Malaysia Boleh" is not about the tallest building, tallest flagpole, longest spaghetti line, largest number of people in one dance hall and the likes. rolleyes.gif

Complaining and finger-pointing isn't gonna help the situation. Let us not give up hope on this country we call ours. Then we are all digging our own graves.

There are still lots of great people and guardian angels from all walks of life around who care to lend a hand as demonstrated through VMCC. Thousands have sent 100s of thousands of e-Cards to invite the world to visit our country from http://www.vmcc.com.my - that gives me hope for the future.

We just do our bit as fellow-citizens to make things better to show we care for this country smile.gif

Do we actually know what visitors really want to come to Malaysia for?

Yup, we don't really know and we can only generalize simply because no two person's holiday preference are the same.

Yet we can say Malaysia is the place to be... everything also got and no natural calamities such as volcanoes, earthquakes, typhoons, etc.

For nature lovers, here are the Tourism videos you can send to your friends overseas:
http://vmcc.com.my/tourism_commercial.php

Come to think of it, everything also got - including Eye on Malaysia so no need to go London. See http://www.londoneye.com/AboutEye.aspx whistling.gif
