I frequent Sen Heng alot too. Its definitely not the best electrical shop out there, but there are reasons why its still a viable choice for me. for one, it accepts most major credit card, the promos are usually decent. By decent I mean I can buy the occasional table fan at rm80.

My bad experience was when I was looking to buy iPad 3 16gb wifi version. I went to this outlet in melaka (near masjid). This idiot salesman showed me an open box. I argued that I dont'want an open box as I know its been abused or on displayed before. He insisted that its for warranty check only, and there has been no use. I challenged him to turn it on, because there's a way to know for sure if an ipad has been turned on the first time. He cant even turn it on! Its broken or something.

At that point, no way in hell I'm buying from this shop. He try to goad me by showing me another box, but I told him I'm not interested. He opened it and voila, no usb cable! He even dare to say memang no cable inside ipad box. Fucker I straight leave the shop.

From my experience, its not the outlet fault, but because of bad branch manager or poor salesman. If you're able to find a good salesman and an honest branch, then you can safely buy your stuff from them with no worries.

I just bought 2 sharp led tv from seng heng tesco sp selatan. it is currently on discount. the sales girl said the tv not in stock at their branch, need 1 day to deliver straight to my house. so i proceed to swipe my card and nearly 24hrs later, the tv arrived in front of my door. so far so good. but the branch at lagenda heights sp, the staff there faces like tahi. all 1malaysia staffs there all mintak penumbok one.

that's my story la.

ala... most electronic shops in malaysia will give you display stock..
unless you pick directly from the gondola and bring to cashier counter..
But in this case, customer did specifically asked for non-display unit....

This.

Especially if you buy from hypermarket. Even then you need to ensure they haven't opened the box before.
