When I built my rig last year with 16GB RAM I thought it would last at least 3-4 year before upgrade then BF1 came lol
Pretty sure when I built it, most blog said "oh most modern game only use about 4-6GB so 8gb is enough for gaming" XD

If you still want cheapest from G2A/kinguin, try after release to make sure the keys there are legit or it will be hell to get refund from those site.

In-game engine footage? Sure, it is the cinematic movies so of course it would look good but the gameplay is only the last bit of the video (fps pov, tanks) and will only look like that if your Pc can push Ultra settings. Especially upgrade your ram higher than 8Gb. Lots of people with lower ram complain getting lag (maybe the game is not fully optimise yet or it really take that much ram we have to wait until launch).

I know Battlefield series are not known for their campaign but from what I gather from youtube, the real events in SP would be pretty interesting to play.
Most probably will finish SP first as I read 1st day launch of the game (21 oct), DDoS attack will happen again like what happened during beta launch.

Actually how exactly to join a clan? In Origin or some other gaming forum like here?

Well with gtx 970 and 16gb ram I'm not surprise you can get max ultra with ease
I have similar spec and got no problem also but during beta many people with less 8gb ram complain that it lags.

@Apisfires, your cpu is more powerful. Older =/= less Ghz.
And you use gtx 1070, of course run smooth.

@Hongki what GPU you use?

Considering that BF1 min requirement is i5-6600k (3.5Ghz) and your i5-6400 (2.7GHz), its obvious the lag come from your CPU. BF game eat your CPU hard with their levolution physics. I think your GPU make the min cut.
Try turning off some setting especially AA.
Keeping your PC clean of dust can also fork out some 5-10 fps.

Fix it for you.

Normal spotting, press 'Q' button on your keyboard when you see enemy to make them appear on the map.

What class are you playing?

If play as scout/sniper, they have flare/flash gun; shot in the air near enemy and they will appear on the map. Flash gun will spot AND blind all people in the area. Remember that the ammo is limited to only 2 so use it wisely or have support drop ammo near you.
When leveled up, scout can have binocular to spot from super long distance but you still need to press 'Q' button to spot them/make them appear on the map.

Other class can only use normal spot.
