my unifi modem and connection located downstairs and the signal is poor at my study room upstairs. at the same time i have N600 wireless dual band TP link modem that was bought in Australia. can i use that modem without issue as it is australia version and how to configure it for both internet and hyptv.

i have setup wireless repeater. may I know once we configure the system with our wifi and password, the laptop/phone just need to connect to the wifi as per normal right? just using our wifi name and p/w
