Mine working fine.

Hmmm, probably it is an issue affecting my area only. Oh well.....
My unifi IPv6 seems to work intermittently while my streamyx IPv6 totally borked. Both got valid global IPv6 address.

I hope so too, but looking at last yr budget - RM60 for 1Mbps (look at what "brilliant" package TM came out with)
also http://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2016...rage-and-speed/, the aim is only 20Mbps, so work out the math, 5Mbps x 2 = 10 Mbps next yr, times 2 again in two yrs = 20 Mbps  rclxms.gif

knowing TM, double your speed should be doable for all packages, but price reduce by 50%  hmm.gif  hmm.gif
i'll be glad to eat humble pie come 2018 though  devil.gif
looking forward to it  rolleyes.gif
*
-.-......Which mean TM will start to enforce the quota system soon.......I rather have unlimited data with 5Mbps than 20Mbps with 65GB quota (download + upload)

Quick question, can anyone with unifi IPv6 is able to ping 2001:e68:2005:29:202:188:0:133 and get proper response?

2001:e68::b:68 seems to be ping-able, but the one above 100% packet loss.

>.<.....guess TM screwed up some of the IPV6 route on 18 October.
Sometime my Unifi router reported kernel: ICMPv6 RA: ndisc_router_discovery() failed to add default route.
Worst still, my Streamyx adsl router keeps on logging the same message non-stop.

not really, "subject to technical availability". They already did the upgrade this year rom 5mbps to 10mbps. My guess is the upgrade will require a little $ add on
*
The slide clearly mention:
Unifi ---> Speed
Streamyx ---> Value

Guess it is time for me to terminate my streamyx at secondary house? But that place doesn't have unifi.....sigh.....

your router is letting you know that somebody tried to connect ('intrude') to your WAN IP address.Don't worry, you're fine.Disable your IGMP.
*
Bro, wrong advice. IGMP is dfferent thing lah.

The daily log which normally filled up with port number 80, 443, 445, 2327, 3389 5555, 8001 and 8080 is suddenly filled up with port 7547 since last 4 days.

Found out the reason :

The advertisement seems not so transparent.

Mean, subscribe for RM179 package and get free speed upgrade to 50Mbps?
*
Now....the ads doesn't say WHEN and WHO will get free speed upgrade.

Oh ya, anyone know when the price will be reduced by half as per Najib announcement? 2017 or 2018 or 2019?

pay 179 for 30Mbps later turn 50Mbps next year for 179 too.ok what.
*
Price not affordable for many of us.
Waiting for the price to drop by half as mentioned by Najib during budget 2017. But not sure when will the so called half price reduction happen.

EDIT: Half price = RM179 (RM189.74 GST-ed). So, [179/2] x 1.06 = RM94.87

I think for 2017 the price per package is not going down , the only price per Mb is going down. Nice manipulation you have there TM.

Total reduction price per package ? Maybe 2018  whistling.gif  who knows . . . You need to remember TM is a public company. So need to maintain some portion of the profit to the shareholders like me brows.gif
*
Hard to say TM is a public company when our government keeps 'subsidizing'/'sponsoring' TM broadband improvement + rollout.

Sigh.....Guess I gonna pay RM200+ for my unifi and RM90+ for my streamyx forever....

You guys can read the "Frequently Asked Questions" for more info. My Unifi pro are not entitle to get any benefit from this broadband improment plan...so sad...

I’m on 100Mbps package. Do I
enjoy a speed upgrade? If not,
why?

§ The UniFi Pro is currently the most premium UniFi
package offered by TM.
§ UniFi Pro customers is currently enjoying the lowest price
per Megabit ( RM3.29/Mbps).
What are the terms for eligibility?

§ To be eligible:
1) Customers have to be registered for the qualifying services
before 31st December 2016. Under the following packages
CONSUMER
UniFi:
UniFi VIP5, VIP10, VIP20
UniFI ADVANCE 30, ADVANCE Plus 50
Streamyx:
384kbps, 512kbps
1M, 2M, 4M, 8M
https://www.tm.com.my/speedupgrade/Pages/as...Website_Eng.pdf
*
Eh? What with streamyx?
*Note: Not an automatic upgrade for Streamyx customers. Customers have to apply for upgrade
What does the statement mean?

EDIT: Let say I am on Streamyx 4Mbps, does this mean I have to go TMPoint to apply for the so called "free" upgrade to 8Mbps?

Some places actually just support up to 1mbps... Normally streamyx user using the max package that area supported. I dont think have peluang to free upgrade.
I think 4mbps is max that can support at your area. Even free speed upgrade, but it not support. Useless
*
My place that currently use ADSL 4Mbps does support 8Mbps streamyx package. (My next door neighbour subscribed 8Mbps)
There is even fiber termination point available at the same pole.

TM statement is very vague.

Issues/Questions with the so called 'apply for upgrade'

Who?
When?
How?
Where?

Now I am pissed off with TM:
How many customers will be eligible for the BIP2017 ?
-More than 500,000 UniFi customers will be eligible for the speed upgrade.
-About 100,000 Streamyx customers will be eligible for the new package to be introduced in June 2017.

Now TM has 2.37 million broadband customers, of which over 900,000 are UniFi customers (2013 data from TM 2016 Annual report), so, there are 1.47 million adsl/streamyx user.......and only 100K of streamyx users will be eligible for some sort of new package? puke.gif puke.gif puke.gif
