Gotta go to TM Point to request for relocation... I already predicted there will be a transition period where I will not have Internet.
Just wondering, can I unplug everything and bring it to my new place? I will also check with the staff in TM Point regarding this. |

QUOTE(ad2000 @ Oct 17 2016, 10:18 AM) Yes..unplug everything and make sure every each one component is not left behind. When I relocated last year, I was also advised to bring all the equipment to my new location, keep it and hand it over to the installer once they come to reconnect your unifi Thanks. Mine is a landed property and the cabling was done from outside straight to my room, they drilled a small hole on my ceiling and pulled down the cable to BTU.** you can detach the white cable from wall socket to BTU..if installer do not ask for it, just keep it , let them instal new one..the old one can keep as spare How to remove the whole thing ya? Or left it dangling there? |

QUOTE(sHawTY @ Oct 17 2016, 11:50 AM) You mean the Fiber termination point? No, don't remove that Alright got it! I just scared my owner found out I drilled his ceiling. You don't have to take any Fiber cable with you at all Just these items: 1. BTU & AC Adaptor 2. Router & AC Adaptor 3. HyppTV, HyppTV Remove & AC Adaptor 4. DECT phone, ADSL cable & AC Adaptor 5. Some Ethernet cable (I prefer to use new units whenever I relocate to new place) |

QUOTE(ad2000 @ Oct 17 2016, 05:56 PM) OK, I will pretend I don't know and leave it there. QUOTE(Mr Leo @ Oct 17 2016, 06:50 PM) I just received a call from TM and they offered me 50Mbps for RM 219 with no contract refresh. May I know how much you guys pay for 50Mbps (curious)? BTW I rejected the offer. RM 219 is a good deal though. |

QUOTE(sgpdsmss @ Oct 19 2016, 08:18 PM) bro... Multi-quote your posts.currently tm gave 850l router...the wifi always slow and drop connection.. max 10 devices connected...hypptv connected via wifi too for iptv... so any recommend router .... thanks,.. Regarding your bill, you can easily check from online OCC UniFi. First bill is usually higher because you are paying for current month and following month. UniFi is always advanced payment. |

QUOTE(azhar75 @ Oct 20 2016, 09:55 PM) I just notice the title of this thread: Well, you can say no but if you are subscribing to UniFi then you will need to pay. That's why they can monopolize. Official TM UniFi High Speed Broadband Thread V27, We Want Cheaper Price! (Unifi) Just let us remove the HyppTV Package.... It is lousy! Paying RM31.80 monthly (with GST summore....!!!) is like "sedekah tak ikhlas" to TM! Forcing us to pay lousy HyppTV service is like "menyelamatkan seseorang dalam organisasi TM - Siapakah "ketua" HyppTV di TM....?". I would rather pay RM51/month for NetFlix Premium service Say NO to HyppTV!!! |

QUOTE(alexwsk @ Oct 21 2016, 06:54 PM) then comes the next paragraph OK la, if RM 90 for 50Mbps, I will stick to UniFi. * A subscriber of 5 mbs per second package at RM149 will enjoy a package with twice the speed, which is 10 megabytes per second. Within the next two years, for this package, the speed will be doubled with the reduction in prices by 50%. So i better make sure i don't touch my package for another 2 yrs QUOTE(sgpdsmss @ Oct 21 2016, 07:08 PM) I'm using channel 11 for 2.4GHz. |

QUOTE(alexwsk @ Oct 21 2016, 07:39 PM) read closely, it said for the RM149 5Mbps package only That's just an example la by Najib. 1) to upgrade that 5Mbps to 10 Mbps - mostly done if not all, so by next yr easily doable 2) to double the speed and decrease price for that particular package in 2 yrs, wait slow slow la |

QUOTE(JohnLai @ Oct 21 2016, 11:06 PM) -.-......Which mean TM will start to enforce the quota system soon.......I rather have unlimited data with 5Mbps than 20Mbps with 65GB quota (download + upload) And what makes you think to have that assumption? Why can't have both? Other broadband services are doing that.Come on 5Mbps is too slow by today's standard. We need to buck up. |

QUOTE(Icehart @ Oct 22 2016, 04:39 AM) I was saying the implementation of FUP. I know it was mentioned in VIP plans but didn't implement until today. Luckily Advance plans have no FUP mentioned anywhere.By the way, regarding relocation. I'm now staying in the second room (total 4 rooms) and TM actually pulled the cable to my room. For my new place, I will be staying at the last room, assuming if I'm willing to pay for the cabling, will they still pull it over or any criteria must be fulfilled? Like the condition of the ceiling? It's the same type of ceiling in my current room. |

QUOTE(herojack41 @ Oct 22 2016, 12:59 PM) they received a huge backlash when they wanted to implement....which was then delayed and never heard of it anymore Yeah but FUP is not mentioned anywhere in their T&C.i dont think those low speed package such as VIP5,10,20 is susceptible to FUP anymore. if they really want to implement FUP, 30/50/100mbps is the 1 also....they have track of everysingle user data usage. be4 the free upgrade to 10mbps, some agent called me ask me whether i want to upgrade to 10mbps package by just adding rm10 and i say no plus not much people using.......then he hantam me bek saying system shows that your monthly data usage chalk up as much as 200gb++ on this 5mbps and you sure dont1 to upgrade? |
