UniFi VDSL2 users may not even get 50Mbps, let alone 100Mbps.

So what will TM offer to VDSL2 users on UniFi Advance 30 now for the same price?? This issue has not been addressed.
*
actually VDSL2 is also capable of high speed

but it all boils down to the developer who laid the copper cable is it high quality ones or pariah.

I was saying the implementation of FUP. I know it was mentioned in VIP plans but didn't implement until today. Luckily Advance plans have no FUP mentioned anywhere.
By the way, regarding relocation. I'm now staying in the second room (total 4 rooms) and TM actually pulled the cable to my room. For my new place, I will be staying at the last room, assuming if I'm willing to pay for the cabling, will they still pull it over or any criteria must be fulfilled? Like the condition of the ceiling? It's the same type of ceiling in my current room.
*
they received a huge backlash when they wanted to implement....which was then delayed and never heard of it anymore

i dont think those low speed package such as VIP5,10,20 is susceptible to FUP anymore.

if they really want to implement FUP, 30/50/100mbps is the 1 laugh.gif

also....they have track of everysingle user data usage. be4 the free upgrade to 10mbps, some agent called me ask me whether i want to upgrade to 10mbps package by just adding rm10 and i say no plus not much people using.......then he hantam me bek saying system shows that your monthly data usage chalk up as much as 200gb++ on this 5mbps and you sure dont1 to upgrade?

Based on budget 2017,this is my prediction

-I think TM will introduce a new package similar to VIP10 but with VIP5 price or maybe lesser since their VIP packages are already obsolete.
-The offering of this new package may contain lesser offering than old VIP.Maybe it is not a triple play package at all just to save cost.
-Should be able to cater FTTH and VDSL/ADSL area.10Mbps is possible now for ADSL based on current scenario around the world.
-The doubling speed of 30/50 and 100.Ermmm.... I am bit pessimistic they can do it in 2017.

Well they have to bundle the other stuffs in order to push the sales of low demand products, although they know most people don't use them anymore.

FYI,

Nationwide since 17/10/2016 everyone face slowness, intermittent and frequent disconnection due to TM backhaul issue.

Try ping 1.9.1.9, you will know.

TQ.

seems like now there are few options for new installation.

1) sign up online at tm - free 1 month unifi subscription
Package for 30Mbps - rm199 excluding GSt etc.
2) sign up via 100 sales department - free 1 month hypptv premium subscription
Same package price as 1)
3) sign up at certain TM resellers or agents - rm179 package price for 30Mbps but it comes with unifi (Internet) and free Hpptv channels. But it does not come with the voice plan rm20 one - with free 600 minutes talk time.

I have one question, if a place got unifi ready, but no port to subscribe under TM. Will there be possible that one can Maxis instead if there is service available even TM has no ports?

This is management building issue, no shit from TM. So if you want a better quality internet connection, you need to find condo with fiber installed.

Torrent will connect to multiple peers which could cause a heqvy load to the router if your router ia incapable of handling it. A better router could circumvent this issue.

I cover the hole with Polyfilla plaster bought from DIY shop..in fact two walls drilled actually smile.gif ..then fiber cable straight tru the family area upstairs where my audio/video components is

Tm can install the unifi equipments at any place u want actually. Just that if it exceeds the limit of the maximum length of cable (free), u need to pay for the extra, and also any additional work than the normal installation provides.

Oh is it? I didn't know that because for my current place, I saw they pulled from front. I can go and apply for relocation soon though I will only need it by end of November.
