I just received a call from TM and they offered me 50Mbps for RM 219 with no contract refresh. May I know how much you guys pay for 50Mbps (curious)? BTW I rejected the offer. smile.gif

RM 219 is a good deal though.

Example: ninja@unifi or ninja@unifi.com

Guys, I'm planning to upgrade my current VIP5 to the new 30Mbps package. Is there anyway to actually remove the hypptv from the package? I just hate hypptv as I don't use it so it's kinda a waste for me

my house finally has unifi ready. Had placed order now wait for the call from TM on the appointment to install.

Finally. It is a 2.5 years long wait.

18 September they installed finished the green box, 18 October the service coverage is available. One month time. It is shorter than some experienced at 2 months or longer. Good. Haha.

Can't wait for the service to be activated at my house.

Any idea when TM will be coming out with any new plans?
I'm on 8mbps streamyx for RM178. Unifi just came in to my place but the current 30mbps is RM199. I really don't see a point of paying more than my current bill as I am the only person using it at home and I don't use much. I think for my consumption, 10mbps is good enough but telekom doesn't have anything than 30mbps.
Its funny, as time passes HSBB is suppose to be cheaper and faster but it is only getting more expensive. It is faster but whats the point if the minimum package is more expensive. RM199 for internet is a waste for many households.

Rm178 and rm199 price difference is really minimum but the experience u will have for unifi vs streamyx is totally different.

If your contract is over, you only have to return the BTU (Broadband Termination Unit). The rest you can keep it for yourself
If you're not sure which one is BTU, take a picture of all the hardware TM gave to you then we'll point out which one is the BTU

Yes, small difference but it is not what I need. 10mbps is good enough for me and it should be cheaper

i swap back the old dir-615 model and the internet works fine. might be my tp link issue now. but the dir-615 cant support 50mbps. only 15-20mbps. TM also did not give me a new one. hmm.gif

no choice, we are controlled under a monopoly system.

if ur side is covered by time broadband, u can consider it also.
