But the TM hotline will always ask me to use TM speedtest as they don't recognize speedtest.net. They only want me to show them the TM speedtest.
*
Well, luckily the speed shown on TM Speedtest also sucks or if they ask you can just tell it is from TM Speedtest. tongue.gif

Renew your unifi contract for another 24 months, then all your devices warranty will get renew for another 12 months.

Hi, anybody here with the same experience?

My unifi was cut off even though I was paying on time. When we called Unifi the operator said that we already upgraded to 50mbps at RM285. But was still paying the previous package of rm257 for over a year. We now owe more than Rm700 and have to pay up if we want the Internet back up.

The thing is we never agreed to any upgrade. And unaware of the upgrade. Any suggestions what are our options?

MCMC = Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission @ http://www.skmm.gov.my

Anyway, please proceed raise your complaint via Communications and Multimedia Consumer Forum of Malaysia (CFM) Portal about it, remember to provide the case number given by TM about it too so that they can "Talk" with TM.

Thank you so very much for your advice. This is exactly what I'm going to do.
I also emailed them yesterday and their reply was that "the case is open and we are investigating".

Yes, please. I had given TM a hard time one year ago when I complained via MCMC. Action was taken very quickly and came out with a resolution.

I have just have unifi installed last week and it came up to my mind about the copper line, I live in high rise, so I was told the fibre connection only installed until the station(whatever they call it), and the distribution to each unit is made via copper, and TM tech told me it wont make any huge difference but I still wonder about it, is there anyone can help me to clarify how much difference it would make by using 100% fibre and fibre+copper? I did test the speed and it seems ok for download but for upload, i noticed some random latency whenever I hosted a game(most of the time will happen roughly 1 minute ) not sure what caused this since the upload for vup30 is only 10mbps.....

I'd moved from a landed property to high rise using copper and I would say latency is 3ms higher for the game I usually played. The differences is not noticeable unless you are reading directly from the stats.

So can only increase the 5Ghz range only.
