Not sure about the requirements for art programmes, but I teach in a business school and add maths is not a requirement to join any of our programmes. It is however worth noting that students who took add maths generally fare better in the core math courses as opposed to those who don't. As such, I recommend that you only drop the subject if you're having difficulty keeping up with the syllabus up to a point that it pulls down your overall results heavily.
