QUOTE(alpha0201 @ Sep 20 2016, 07:16 PM) After few days of observing the power consumption of my Apple Watch, with Background App Refresh turned off, I have come to a conclusion. Hmmm... means watchOS 3 doesn't improve battery life for Apple Watch series 0. Thanks for the feedback! The power consumption remained the same as how I usually use on watchOS 2. Background App Refresh turned on will affect power consumption in a big way. |

Hi, am considering on getting an Apple Watch. I was informed that Machines is giving a 50% discount on the Series 1.
Therefore, I was wondering, should i get the series 1 now with the discounts or should i wait for the series 2? In your experiences with Series 1, is it good enough? Thanks in advance |

Those are not Series 1. Those are the first generation of Apple watch (some call them series 0).
Series 1 and 2 not yet launched in Malaysian market. |

QUOTE(nickygin @ Sep 22 2016, 09:48 AM) Hi, am considering on getting an Apple Watch. I was informed that Machines is giving a 50% discount on the Series 1. The 50% discount is for the Stainless Steel variant of the old gen (or we call Series 0). Series 1 with the new processor which is the same as Series 2 is not available yet, but explains why there is a sales for the Series 0 Therefore, I was wondering, should i get the series 1 now with the discounts or should i wait for the series 2? In your experiences with Series 1, is it good enough? Thanks in advance |

In my opinions, AW series 0 stainless steel version is a very good buy now, especially some seller is providing a free Apple Watch 42mm Black Leather Loop (means two straps in total). May refer to this.

Only slightly more expensive and alu has its pro and con vs a stainless.Black stainless steel is BEAUTIFUL |

If you are a swimmer who swims with a watch then series 2 is the only choice. |

The price for Series 1 and Series 2 is a huge difference, think many would go for series 1 instead if they are not fully utilizing the swim function?
