The road is already so damn congested at medan idaman especially school hours, Even after a protest by the school and residence nearby, the Local Council still approves of this project.

However, IMO, crony not equal to bad.

Instead of giving away land at way below market price like in Mahathir time, current practice (from what I observe) is to give away land at below market price, then you have to build RUMAWIP on the piece of land, but free to build a fancy atas overpriced condo beside it.

Example :

Residensi Wangsamas RUMAWIP = The Hamilton Residence @ Wangsa Maju
Residensi Kepongmas RUMAWIP = The Henge @ Kepong

My RUMAWIP application was a success and now I have to go to Shazac Builders and discuss on booking and financial assistance. Anyone knew about Shazac Builders and their reputation, also I read about the protest against the projet so what is it all about? I hope this thread still alive.

I was in Setapak area yesterday and got the chance to visit the construction site. I believe the progress is at 7th floor now.
Apparently it's just beside a school, small lake/playground, surau and the newly built Perpustakaan 1WP.

that's a good news. can proceed to send the documents to putrajaya then.

and not to mention this is 300k rumawip in such a location, even the 198k AK Rumawip comes with better facility and location.
