nintendo doesn't have official presence here, prolly maxsoft wanted to ensure 1-2 switch is sold well

Probably Maxsoft has cold feet that 1-2 Switch target audience won't buy the Switch. Or Maxsoft is stuck with plenty of RM1.5k WiiUs. Doesn't look good if WiiU is more expensive than the brand new Switch...

1-2 should have been bundled with Switch by Nintendo. Wii Sports was the unifying experience factor for many Wii users.

Guess i won't be buying a Switch anytime soon. I think Nintendo has pretty much screw up.

1. Launch titles are a joke. It's LESS THAN THE WIIU! I have absolutely no confidence the 3rd party support will continue in the long run.

2. Crazy expensive Joycons.

3. USB 2.0 seriously in 2017??

4. Paid Online services which is much inferior to PSN in terms of getting the games. Nintendo rent it out to you instead of just giving you free....ancient games everyone can play on emulators.

The only game i am interested in is Mario Oddysey, and that won't come anytime soon.

So i will just wait for the Holidays and if there is a price reduced bundle with Mario, then i will consider to buy one.

Looking at the current situation, i thiink this might be Nintendo's last hardware failure.

RIP. Hopefully, they can become a 3rd party developer for the PlayStation 5 by then.

1. launch titles, erm no comment

2. indeed

3. http://tendoswitch.com/usb-3-0-support-con...uture-update-2/ to be updated to 3.0, but i think the one connecting the console and dock is thunderbolt thing running thru usb-c and 3.0...

4. still no one knows for sure what is happening there

they spread all their important titles throughout the year instead of releasing them one shot, we prolly gotta observe longer before making a conclusion. Also they started bringing some of their games to the mobile, i would be quite surprised if they are not making money there

"Buried in reams of financial data is the revelation that Nintendo have 812.8 billion Yen (£6.7/$10.5 billion) in the bank – enough for it to take a 20 billion Yen loss (£163/$257 million) every year until 2052. Then there’s almost 469 billion Yen (£3.8/$6.0 billion) held in premises, equipment and investments. When that runs out – we’re in the year 2075 by this point – they’ve got some of the most valuable intellectual property in gaming to sell off before the company goes out of business"

If Aussie is 470 without bundle games, then Malaysia set is a steal.

1600 bundle Zelda + 1,2 switch. Two games.

SONY and MS will forever locked in an ARM race.

But the funny thing is MS is making XBOX more redundant....not only same games like PC, now they are having some scheme you can play the same game across PC if you bought the XBOX version....

SONY still has the lion shares of Japanese 3rd parties and major Western 3rd parties.

Basically SONY and MS is not taking any risk, while Nintendo prefer to look for "Blue Ocean Strategy"...which doesn't always works...(Wii being the exception).

I wonder if ppl complaint about n64 launch titles back then as well hmm.gif
as for usb port complaint for not 3.0 (without update for the single back one for launch), it's not like you have use for those atm. do tell me, what would you use those that 2.0 cannot cover during launch period hmm.gif

edit: that 1.6k ringgit is the bundle total price or ignoring the forced 2 games?

it might be possible?

Possible that the console cost around 350SGD and 180SGD for the both game bundle?
