i don't think so at the moment.. i'm waiting my refund also. i returned on tuesday. the refund department have yet to call me regarding the payment process was being told that minimum 2 weeks.. maximum 1 month
Watch the clip. The clip (started from 1:00) indicated that the new Note 7 has battery drain issue eventhough it was charging. In other words, the battery could not be charged.

While Umobile set need to wait for their call on 29th onwards. WTH, I will call Samsung tomorrow seems like Umobile not quite serious about this issue.
I spoke to YES customer service this evening and was told they have not received any instruction in writing from Samsung to allow exchange with only phone and box. They would follow the previous written instruction to collect full set of accessories unless there is a new written instruction from Samsung to tell them otherwise.
It's not their call though as Samsung said it's okay to keep. YES just dont want to prolong the issue and hassle them to call back customers.
so piss off with samsung & yes telco.. both give different answer and direct asking me do this and that. they thought i'm so free?? wth!
i had surrender my phone earlier to samsung and waiting for their refund. then now yes call me saying i need to take back the phone from samsung and return to them. now i'm scare my phone and accessories including freebies also don't know samsung put where la.. duhhhhhhhh.. later ask me wait for few weeks to check where my phone is.. more worst!! ishhhh..
Well from what one forummer here said, if the telco give customer so much hassle, you can bring it to Samsung. But you did sent it to Samsung, so I think there's nothing to worry about.
i had returned full set to samsung earlier ler. the problem is now the yes told me refund is from their side hence i need to go back samsung to take my phone and return back to yes.
samsung cs also useless. mentioned will call me back. none at all. fine. i call back today but the cs is not around and her colleagues said will pass the matter to her and call me back later. till now none!! tomorrow need to call to
so much hassle. if can't return to samsung should well informed customer. if like this i better take back and exchange. after exchange just sell it off.. sigh
Yes exchange is better and sell it off later. As you can either keep the free-gifts and some accessories you like in old Note7 package.
Just bring EVERYTHING.... Put them in ur backpack. Let's see whether the counter realizes that u return N7 ONLY. If the counter said they want the whole set/packages, you have them standby already in your backpack...
There is no need for that. Even in official Samsung Malaysia website indicate you can exchange even there is missing accessories or box
Link please so that I can show to the counter that they are wrong if they claimed the opposite. You know how our ppl here... The counter (who has the final say...) can claim that ".com.MY" Sammy website is never update/post latest news/notices...
I'd attach the SMS but its too much a hassle. There was a phone call too from DiGi, konon mahu personally call and inform and apologize for the delay till the 4th. Or maybe only select certain few ppl saja kena, mayhaps ppl jauh jauh?

No, I called Umobile CS twice, one last week and another one just 3 hours ago. They were blurred about this Note7 exchange. Said to me need to wait for Marketing Department to call me. I blamed SME for this. If SME stock the new Note7 in Umobile SC, for sure their CS will know about it. Thumb down for SME and thumbs down for Umobile for failed to follow up the issue with SME. Like Note7 exchange news didn't come across to their daily life.
sorry, what warranty is this? the smart protection? not covering water damage when the phone is IP67? hmmm...

Water damage during any warranty period. Because I read they got moisture detector in some part of the phone. So if water masuk from sim tray area, they say eligible to void. Kalau screen ada crack (front back, bezel ka) also illegible to void. Other than that, say usb port, speaker, spen port, semua cover warranty.
YES, they won't covered if water damaged even your phone is IP67 or 68. This is standard practice since Xperia Z. Even the new iPhone 7 can't claim for warranty if water damage.
