QUOTE(yuhhaur @ Sep 22 2016, 09:26 AM) IIRC screen crack is not covered under the standard warranty, perhaps pohsze care to explain abit since she had experience on this matter. I cant comment much because I didnt buy the warranty in the first place, hence forking out 1k for screen replacement. How does a screen suddenly crack by itself? I think it should cover user mishandling (etc dropping on floor resulting in screen crack). otherwise why would we buy the warranty? |

QUOTE(chard168 @ Sep 30 2016, 12:56 AM) Just do it If apply samsung ori sp got yellow tint, tempered glass not suitable for edge phones etc...so I think most probably will use it naked screen with casing, already got used to the screen's awesomeness. Still got one option, clear coat lifetime warranty. No lifting with case. |

QUOTE(jerm @ Sep 30 2016, 10:12 AM) For those that exchange their sets with YES, I suggest you go to the Samsung store to voice your complaint that YES is keeping the accessories and replacing what's missing from your old box from the new box. Apparently all SES stores have an SME person onsite to facilitate complaints and requests. Yes. I had a bad experience doing my exchange with YES. They kept insisting they are following protocols from their management. Asked them to check with Samsung, just went into back office and come out pretending it's the same decision.I had a very good experience with the SME person in the 1U SES store. His name is Yip Wah, and I suggest that you speak to him about your situation with YES. Fine, it's a bonus if I can keep, bt not a good experience knowing that others can get to keep but they taking it out from the new box for those missing accs. Feels so cheapskate. Also, when asked who will be doing the warranty registration and about screen warranty, they fxcking ignored me. They really should go for more training. First and last time buying with YES. Previously mine is Samsung lens for rear camera. Now front is Samsung lens, rear is Sony lens. |

QUOTE(jerm @ Sep 30 2016, 11:58 AM) The SME guy at the Samsung store gave me the accessories, likely from a returned set where the previous owner was not keen on keeping everything. Yeah. Their tone was disrespectful. Even after showing them the chat with Samsung team they still adamant to take it. YES 1u took everything, and by an honest mistake, i did not put my USBC adapter inside, so they took it from the new box, to be put into the old box. The way the guy said that was extremely rude. That was when i lost it. I did not bother with asking about registration etc, i will rather deal with Samsung myself on that. When i first collected the phone in August, a week later I went to the Samsung service center to register the extended warranties, I was told that my unit had not been registered with them yet, and it was YES' responsibility to do so. That's why I didn't bother this round to ask about it. Same here, first and only time I will ever deal with YES. Horrible, horrible experience. On another Note (ahem), I didn't realise how much I missed this phone. Leagues above my Note 5. Happy. My warranty was I registered myself. They suck as telco. |

QUOTE(drindy @ Sep 30 2016, 05:44 PM) I received a call from YES customer service today. She told me YES has finally received an instruction in writing from Samsung asking them to collect just the Phone and box without accessories after many customer bombarded Samsung careline and service centre regarding the return of accessories. Oh and she said S Pen is not part of the accessories, so have to return as well. :-) this is YES at which outlet? what the hell la. Already done the exchange. Can I go back and ask for the accessories back? haha |
