It would be probably beneficial to everyone here (or at least some) that if you're posting about your exchange you could add in details like
Exchanged at [specify which branch/location] Accessories kept - Yes/No If kept, including s-pen? Yes/No Anything extra? - Apparently cookies from YES. |

QUOTE(drindy @ Sep 29 2016, 02:14 PM) I called Samsung careline 1800-88-7799 to ask why purchasers from YES have to return all accessories while others can keep theirs and the CS said will check with YES and call me back. I encourage others who purchase from YES to call Samsung careline as well, maybe with more complaints they will finally give a written instructions to YES to ask for only phone and box. I actually called CS and the person i spoke to (Shel, or Shal, something like that) was VERY adamant about returning the FULLSET. Gave up. |

Yes 1u takes from New box what is missing from old box. Wtf. Didn't realise my usbc adapter was not in there, so they took it from the new box.
Am at Samsung itself now, there is an SME guy here, I've done my complaint to him, waiting for a call from someone in SME. |

Got a call from yes instead, a ms Lai talking bullshit and saying sorry. Am at Samsung itself now, there is an SME guy here, I've done my complaint to him, waiting for a call from someone in SME. Not helping, yo. |

For those that exchange their sets with YES, I suggest you go to the Samsung store to voice your complaint that YES is keeping the accessories and replacing what's missing from your old box from the new box. Apparently all SES stores have an SME person onsite to facilitate complaints and requests.
I had a very good experience with the SME person in the 1U SES store. His name is Yip Wah, and I suggest that you speak to him about your situation with YES. |

QUOTE(pohsze @ Sep 30 2016, 10:33 AM) Yes. I had a bad experience doing my exchange with YES. They kept insisting they are following protocols from their management. Asked them to check with Samsung, just went into back office and come out pretending it's the same decision. Fine, it's a bonus if I can keep, bt not a good experience knowing that others can get to keep but they taking it out from the new box for those missing accs. Feels so cheapskate. Also, when asked who will be doing the warranty registration and about screen warranty, they fxcking ignored me. They really should go for more training. First and last time buying with YES. QUOTE(Sugasugar @ Sep 30 2016, 10:22 AM) Did you get back your acc? YES 1U took my old accs too.. The SME guy at the Samsung store gave me the accessories, likely from a returned set where the previous owner was not keen on keeping everything.another question, how do you register your warranty + free 1 year warranty? Samsung 1U said no need to register, it's all in the system already.. YES don't know what to do.. loll YES 1u took everything, and by an honest mistake, i did not put my USBC adapter inside, so they took it from the new box, to be put into the old box. The way the guy said that was extremely rude. That was when i lost it. I did not bother with asking about registration etc, i will rather deal with Samsung myself on that. When i first collected the phone in August, a week later I went to the Samsung service center to register the extended warranties, I was told that my unit had not been registered with them yet, and it was YES' responsibility to do so. That's why I didn't bother this round to ask about it. Same here, first and only time I will ever deal with YES. Horrible, horrible experience. On another Note (ahem), I didn't realise how much I missed this phone. Leagues above my Note 5. Happy. This post has been edited by jerm: Sep 30 2016, 12:00 PM |
