The problem is SME. SME is just in a position to carry out the replacement process instructed by Samsung Korea. Instead SME is playing their own agenda. Requesting full box set return for replacement is not the instruction from the HQ.

We the owners may want to take advantage of this situation for accessories, but SME is just greedy too. They want to resell these accessories such as power adapter and s-pen.

how do u know SME wants to sell?

all users should just return everything, then take whole new brand new box. simple. no need to be greedy by keeping the usb c adaptor / cable / earphone etc.. few ringgit stuffs also wants to cheat. sigh...

too bad samsung in each country is handle diffrently.
but to exchange the phone more important or to keep the accessories...
if really lost the adapter or cable then work it out with SME, not to take advantage of it and keep bashing here. for the sack or extra spen and and cable or charger, waste all your time trying your tricks and excuse with SME. or better next time buy from SG for the after sale service, they earn sgd we earn rm.  cool2.gif  cool2.gif

Despite having and currently using iPhone 7 Plus and my all time trusted Nexus 6p, I really cant wait to replace my Note 7. So today I decided to prepare my Note 7 early for the 29th Sept replacement day... I factory reset my note 7 and voila, it stucks at recovery menu with error message: drm verification fail (sthing like that).

What should I do? I hv never unlock or flash my Note 7. Will they still accept my replacement?? Sigh

Boy, why you wanna worry about that at all. Samsung will replace your unit even if they are scratches and cracks for safety reason. Don't loss your sleep over this.

Yeah. Hopefully. I never unlocked or rooted my phone except the google nexus, well since it's a nexus.

I think it is better to factory reset on that day in front of them if this really happen. Saw quite a few number posted this issue before. Especially singapore.

ouch. So what happen then? Any issue during the replacement?

try reinstalling the app and see. My whatsapp used to crash on me too

ya. yesterday the whatsapp kept on crashing also, and still the same even after uninstalled & reinstalled. Then I've decided to move all whatsapp photos and videos to other folder and that fix the crash issue.

however, missing notification is still not fix bye.gif
