I managed to get to DiGi regarding my N7 at Samsung Service Centre and a loaner N5 with me.

Managed to talk abit, apparently DiGi set must also be returned complete box acc. Baru ingat mahu keep everything.

You opted for refund? How much? Mine DiGI, went to Samsung, got a loaner instead until DiGi sort it out with SME

Then you still have a contract with yes?

I got issues with my DiGi Note7, and now called my wife, and somehow my wife made a confirmation, Id to return my faulty unit to the nearest DiGi centre, walk in, with complete EVERYTHING, including box and all FREEBIES and they will replace me completely NEW unit for everything...

on a different note, the weirdly named LUCKY DAC has a CS (Cirrus Logic) coding, previously was a Wolfson DAC on the Note 5. You ppl have any comment on the audio quality output of the N7?

IMHO too weak to drive most IEM, but not to say it doesnt sound nice, but ppl keep saying the LG V20 sounds better

My loaner Note 5, dropped from a foot into some paved tile, got bit o dent at the bezel , ngai lo...apa mcm? haha!

how come you sudah exchange? Using the loaner Note 5 after a month of Note7 just doesnt feel correct. They said can only collect on 29th, even though stock is in hand.

oh, okay! faham liao. Ive sent my unit , unit with stylus only. They said come collect on Thursday & return the loaner Note 5 only. Din say bawa kotak+other acc. See see how how later on ada mintak ka tidak.

Same case my DiGi set. I laised with DiGI after i returned my Note 7 to SME for repair. Then SME asked me to liase with DiGi. Digi gave me a weird solution, but okay la, just extra stop to SME then to DIGI.

Then 2 days later SME called, I explained it, so SME kindly ckp she will take care of it. 2 minutes later called its done, my unit will be router to SME Kuching instead of DiGi KL and i only need to stop by SME sahaja for replacement.

After all this fiasco, IMHO Samsung has handled the case very well. Kalau iPhone buat hal...you held the phone wrongly, or materials of your pants is wrong, or your local electrical utility tidak sync, thats why hp overheat/blow

Okay, my unit (N7+stylus) was sent to samsung service centre, kuching. Digi set, SC helped to arranged, divert the DiGI replacement to SC in Kuching.

Just now SC called can collect tomorrow anytime. Just return the loaner Note 5...i asked sure ka, she said yes...

meaning..I might be returning ONLY the Note7+Stylus saja...

not really, my house is 10 mins away, office is 5 mins away, I'm in Kuching, there is never an issue of logistic being something to regret about.

Btw mmng im going to bring along everything in a bag. If they ask for it, ill give it to them.

On another case, DiGi called saying Note 7 replacement delayed until the 4th of October. He didn't know SC handled my case and unit is in SC 5pm today.

I'd attach the SMS but its too much a hassle. There was a phone call too from DiGi, konon mahu personally call and inform and apologize for the delay till the 4th. Or maybe only select certain few ppl saja kena, mayhaps ppl jauh jauh?

Not affected since my unit is already with SC.

Went to SC, no problem. Initially they say need to return everything, so they will take whatever is missing from the box. My case only cable nyia, because malas mahu cari.

Then i mentioned to them about the Note 7 exchange policy, showed them the Samsung Malaysia, they discussed it, and the they said ok, no problem.

Oh, if you plan on getting the RM99 smart warranty, they showed me an email, special case...need to do it within one month of exchange instead of one year. Malas mahu query regarding that.

I did ask about the warranty, it covers battery and all shit, but not water damaged (cracked body, ejected sim try)

smart warranty covers all standard warranty.

Water damage during any warranty period. Because I read they got moisture detector in some part of the phone. So if water masuk from sim tray area, they say eligible to void. Kalau screen ada crack (front back, bezel ka) also illegible to void. Other than that, say usb port, speaker, spen port, semua cover warranty.

more like every other ppl on the first day said no and somehow was very aggressive, then samsung also ckp no hal, so the next day, "whatever man, not my problem mannn"
