QUOTE(jrrsim @ Sep 19 2016, 07:41 PM) Hi TS ( sengkin95 ), agree. they have no right to call someone s***i. we risk our own lives in order to keep testing the phone on samsung's behalf. can i request that you note in the top post for forumers to avoid name calling even if they seems to be censoring it.. example: s***i, a**h**e etc |

QUOTE(Wind82 @ Sep 20 2016, 01:06 PM) How can SME deny exchange just because of missing accessories? Together we don't return full accessories to them then see how they handle it! Either they tarnish their own reputation or they die die exchange for us, need more ppl to work together otherwise they dgafWe never asked for exchange, it is Samsung own fault in the first place putting our safety at risk and we ARE FORCED to do so. They are not in any position to demand for anything! |

QUOTE(tsungmien @ Sep 20 2016, 01:59 PM) Thanks for sharing, bro! Didn't know that they actually replied differently at different times. SME is really confusing the customers, perhaps they are trying to recover back the accessories as much as possible only. This post has been edited by chard168: Sep 20 2016, 02:21 PM |

QUOTE(irenic @ Sep 20 2016, 03:33 PM) how do u know SME wants to sell? you also know how to say few ringgit stuffs bro. what if those who really lost some of the accessories? reject replacement just because SME prioritize "few ringgit stuff" over the safety of users? all users should just return everything, then take whole new brand new box. simple. no need to be greedy by keeping the usb c adaptor / cable / earphone etc.. few ringgit stuffs also wants to cheat. sigh... |

QUOTE(brandon8921 @ Sep 23 2016, 05:36 PM) Honestly i wont ask for refund unless Samsung really confirm that N7 new battery also got problem and call for global refund and cancel N7 project. And then that time could be the fall of Samsung. Agree with you bro. However, i believe Samsung will forget about N7 and move on very quickly like what the analysts have predicted in one of the roundtable discussions. For such a big company like Samsung, they won't fall that easily. They still have numerous and wide variety of businesses that is supporting the multinational group. They may even turn crisis into opportunity.N7 is really a nice phone, the design, the feature especially spen. No other flagship come close to this. The new ip7 is a joke. Just minor cosmetic changes like all the previous ip and run a little faster. Seriously who the fuck look at benchmark scores? Even daily use ip can load apps a few seconds faster (max i think 3 secs different?), N7 has much more feature and can do a lot more things. Productivity, entertainment, N7 win hands down. Lets hope for the best to Samsung and continue rule the smartphone market! N7 2016 king of smartphone. Period. This post has been edited by chard168: Sep 23 2016, 05:45 PM |

QUOTE(jerryhean @ Sep 23 2016, 05:55 PM) Somehow I got the excitement of collecting the exchange unit just like preorder time. But I am not collecting myself this time. Excitement is definitely there I just hope that I won't get defective ones as the one I am using right now is perfect up till this day (Day 31 of usage) |

I just realized that my 4 year old S3 battery is made by Samsung SDI. It served me well for these 4 years, except that it is slightly swollen right now and the usage time is roughly 2-3 hours after full charge.
The battery itself wrote "越南三星SDI有限公司为三星制造“ This post has been edited by chard168: Sep 23 2016, 06:24 PM |

QUOTE(lllllx3 @ Sep 23 2016, 06:27 PM) Same..my s3 also write the same info... Haha that's good for you. For my case, I really cannot stand the low battery life and the lagness of it anymore that's why i changed to this baby. this S3 is what i using for 1 month now..hahhaha after i using this old phone for 1 month..suddenly i have some feeling like..i still can survive with this lousy old phone... what for i wan buy new phone? hahhaa...so weird ... Even if I want to use back the old phone also cant anymore cause I accidentally broke those thin metal pins inside SIM card slot that help the phone to detect the SIM card. It's confirmed that Samsung is giving us the old accessories to keep. Just received a call from dealer today. To those saint-wannabes, it is highly welcomed that you return the accessories to the dealer according to them. 😃

QUOTE(davidman82 @ Sep 29 2016, 02:40 PM) Anyone got their unit from digi @gdex? Bro, u better check out with samsung quickly. Ur box should have the black square dot printed on it and with a blue 'S' sticker if i am not mistaken. That box seemed like the old unit. Maybe the gdex made a mistake or some of the staff switched it internally. Lots of shady businesses going on so it's better to be safe than sorry. My unit the battery isn't showing green colour. Is it OK? I went to Samsung shop. They said the recall unit outside the box(beside serial number got a hologram sticker) do u all have ? P/s: left hand is Samsung recalled unit shown by Samsung shop. Right hand is my unit got from digi @gdex |

QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Sep 29 2016, 04:22 PM) few page before someone stated their manufactured date is 30th August No no, that brother mentioned that he saw wrongly. His unit is manufactured on 23 September 2016.as long as your IMEI in both phone box and your phone is match along with that special icon are good to go, nothing to worry about I just exchanged mine, black onyx manufactured 23 september as well. Summary for exchanged units so far: (Colour : Manufacture Date) 1. Black Onyx : 23 September, 24 September 2016 2. Gold / Silver : 1 September 2016 This post has been edited by chard168: Sep 29 2016, 06:34 PM |

Anyone noticed that the two stripes on bottom and top beside Spen, headphone jack and usb type C the opening sides' finishing is not that well done compared to the old unit? Black colour unit is very obvious that they factory rushed the production of the grilles

Summary for exchanged units so far:
(Colour : Manufacture Date) 1. Black Onyx : 22,23,24 September 2016 2. Gold / Silver : 1 September 2016 For Black Onyx, latest firmware straight from the box. **Those manufactured in 1 September needs to update to latest firmware before having green battery icon. Issues: Compromised build quality on the device. (The 2 stripes is not as smooth and polished as the old unit) |
