Did anyone request for the normal screen protector that samsung sell for note 7 instead of tempered glass? Tempered glass for note 7 is not good until now still...
*
I request to change to normal SP but they say no stock for now. Even want buy also don't have.

ccoat is the best u can rely on so far. no rubbery feel. now they improved. got two options to choose. normal wrap or case version wrap. got clear & matte. just ignore matte. screen looks dull on matte.
*
Is there any shop in penang that have this clear coat?

Anyway, anyone here got experience with the free TG that was given free now? I bought a new non-TG SP from Sakuraz a couple days ago. Now wondering which one should I use.
*
Any tempered glass WILL NOT work fine on curve screen (s7 edge, N7)
Doesn't matter what brand, pasar malam grade or super overpriced brand, it is still the same. Your touch screen will become very unresponsive.

I have applied the Samsung Original SP on the new Note 7 by the Samsung staff. I am using it with my old Mercury clear case but this time the 4 edge side keep on peel off.
Last time, when the guy help me to apply. it almost perfectly with just the left bottom there got a little bit peeling.
Just wondering what do you guys do to prevent this peeling issue?
*
Don't put a case.

Did you have the always on display? if yes, average it would depletes 1% per hour.
*
Nope. Never turn on the always on display on my N7 and S7e. This battery drop occurs to my pre-recalled "explosive" N7 also. Average drop 5-8% overnight.

yea, initially apply the clear type...then introduced few friends there until the admin recognized me..try my luck by asking to apply matte for free..got it hehehe
can show what app you running at background?
*
I always clear all background apps (habit) and device maintenance at 100%. I think maybe i have poor reception in my area. Always 1 bar signal only. But i doubt it. Because my previous S7e standby time was really good.

hmm...check ur battery usage, see which app is draining the battery...i notice my phone will drop abt 3-4% per night also
*
No other apps draining or running. But i do realise the "Google Play Services" and "Android System" take up a lot battery usage which i don't even know what they do or how i can stop them from running and draining battery.

You won't be able to stop those 2 because they will always be running in the background consistently.

Anyway, did you run 3G/4G data on the phone while you sleep overnight? Because based on my own usage in any smartphones, Android System and Google Play Services would only come at the top of the battery chart ranking if you use data.
*
I always toggle between those. Mobile data on when i go out and wifi on when i get back home and off data. I try to look at the bug report and realise doze mode happen only a while then will suddenly CPU usage high then will go back to doze again and vice versa. Is like you sleeping half way then suddenly nightmare wake up then you go back to sleep again doh.gif

Clearly there is someone behind are the culprits to these N7 exploding cases. (Apple,Sony, htc,LG)
Samsung is not stupid enough to make a 2nd mistake.
Btw, my pre-recalled N7 works like a charm and after replacement it is even better. Not a single sign of failure, overheat etc.

Yup. The only thing to be worried now is the resale value of the Note 7, which will greatly depend on the outcome of this latest Note 7 incident by the US regulators.
*
In Malaysia market, there is no resale value for Note 7 already. One of the Samsung SC personnel told me that the sales of N7 will surely fall to hell. This could be due to bad timing of all these incidents happen. Happens during the launch of ip7. And also Malaysian mentality...... GG N7 resale value.

Any phone or batteries don't just suka suka explode by itself. It must have some external heat or pressure to trigger the fire.

Why would ppl condemn?
As long as it is safe and battery is optimised even for 3100, I think ppl won't complain much.
*
I don't think 3100mAh is sufficient for Note 7.
