I finally solved the issue of peeling SP by using Samsung original SP with the transparent casing from brand "ROCK", which bought from Lazada. The fitment is not as good as Ringke but at least no issue with SP.

yup... i think they will probably drag on for another few weeks before deciding. after all, this ban only affects a small percentage but it will give peace of mind to many other passengers.

right now... my colleagues look at me one kind when i hold my note7... they are half joking... but when you're on a plane, this is no longer a joke.

higher altitude... pressure change... it does affect things. <-- having said that, i'm aware this morning's case... the plane was still in the airport.

Ya. I think they could have planned to lift the ban very soon. But after the morning news, plan changed. Especially FAA. They just lifted the ban not long ago. Not sure if this will trigger their banning order once again.

Phones and powerbanks are often not allowed to be in check in luggage . You will normally be asked to handcarry in. It is strange if one is asked to put it inside checkin baggage.

It can't be OK now. Not every unit is change and still got news about replacement one got issue.

Safety shall be first priority in flight. Need sometimes just can withdraw this prohibition.

today's issue considered serious... coz it bascially burn a plane... though not entirely... but anything to do with planes... serious issue. which is why the US Dept also investigating this...

If new replacement Note 7 still caught fire, I think Samsung should refund all Note 7 and keep it off market. Saves all the hassle and further bad news.
