As for wefie photos, usually people raise it up high so that focal plane alone helps keeping the DOF area covering most faces.

And thats where problem with using big sensor on wefie comes in. To get everything in focus, u need very small aperture which in turn very low shutter which may cause motion blur. Using small sensor but big aperture helps negate the low shutter while maintain large dof.

That is fixed focal. Not fixed focus lah. smile.gif
Yes, as mentioned in my follow up post. It's fixed focal length.

If fixed focus no need to use already.

Ummmmm......coz phone camera has smaller sensor thus "equivalent" dof is huge i.e. front to back will be in focus. Not "fix focus".....actually what is fix focus?????

Go to flickr or 500px site, type in Perth in search bar, see examples of some of the good tour shot and try copy that. Of course not do it 100% but just get the feel of what photo you can take and perhaps add in your own flavour.

I saw G7X mark II features
16. USB CHARGING
This is another nice feature of the G7X mkII, which is easily overlooked. It will now be possible to charge the battery with an USB cable, instead of having to resort to the dedicated external battery charger.

it mean that old g7X cannot charge using USB cable?
so I do not need extra battery if I purchase mark II?

Thank you in advance......

I'm not sure the old G7X can use USB to charge, but the G7X mark2 definitely can use USB to charge from power source to powerbank etc..

On the sidenotes sifu photographies..

1. If i want to take a shot at a dark place.. What should i adjust to capture the best image without using flash? Do I adjust the FS ? Or i dont know what is it called on top of the button that has -1 , -2 , -3 , 0 , +1 , +2 , +3

2. Sometimes I just want to capture the whole image without any blurred backdrop.. This happen each time i use Macro shot, whereby the camera will focus only on the object and blurred the backdrop.. Say if i want to cancel this function, what should i use? I tried AF and manual but sometimes it happens too, especially when i press and hold the snap picture button.. Should i press only and dont hold ? Even sometimes holding less than 1 second makes the backdrop a bit blur..

Sorry ya very noob in photography and camera..

try using A mode and set your aperture to bigger value (example from F2.2 to F9.0)
hope it helps nod.gif
