My best friend's birthday is coming next week. She's a 30+ yo successful lawyer (engaged already) and is very into branded stuffs which sadly, is totally way out of my budget.

I would like to get her something meaningful this year cause she has always bought lots of stuffs for my kids and also for me and she's not someone to calculate on what she's given and what I've given.

Want to say belanja makan, I've already did a few times.

So I need some suggestions on what I can do or get for her if not this year then maybe the next.

Maybe bring her on a holiday for two somewhere? Lawyers, as far as I know la, seldom have time to relax and stuff.

SO maybe a holiday somewhere might just be something she needs.

Sorry im not familiar with perfumes but is this Jo Malone like well known? My friend lives a very humble life and she's had those lucky high class aunties complained to her boss she doesn't know how to dress up and what not. Would be nice to get her a perfume that screams "eff off, I'm here to win your case. Not to win your heart."

How about those balloons (they got additional small word or colorful balloons inside the big balloon), cupcakes or chocolate with words on top like those ppl showed in insta?
Mindful that the set of balloons can get up to hundreds also.

you know people likes surprises right? nothing beats a good surprise with a birthday song. It just shows you care more than just 'things'. memory cost a lot more than 'things'.

I got her a Marc Jacobs perfume since I couldn't find Jo Malone. She was just shocked I got her something cause she didn't get me anything since our bday were only a week apart.
