Absolutely horrible by SE, definitely not worth it. Lately with the FF Type 0 event, and now this, I don't like the direction this game is going. Seems like SE just want a quick cash grab. If continue like that, I think I will quit the game, no point if all the interesting and fun stuff is hidden behind such an expensive paywall.

You should be fine for 2* MP. Not so sure about 3* MP though.

Btw, anyone pulling for Y.R.P? I just did one summon, and got the worst of the four cards, Yuna. I have terrible luck with gacha. I am considering wasting my summon tickets that I saved up for Tidus for this pull instead, but wonder if Y.R.P. is really worth it.

Tidus is not in job pull. I saved 19 summon tickets expecting to use them to pull Tidus, but instead they stick him behind a paywall.

Since I have so much summon tickets, I might as well pull cards or jobs. Only thing I'm not sure now is whether I want to pull for YRP or summon jobs to try to get dancer.

Very true, feeling a bit reluctant to continue pull. I guess YRP more suited for those warrior class, especially Samurai.

Rikku and Paine is not too bad, personally would have liked to get those cards instead of Yuna.

Nice, Scholar is pretty fun. Myself want Dancer, but I got 1/8 chance for that.

The tower event is really tedious, higher up parts need to manual and also need some luck. Too lazy to continue.

For dancers in the tower you pretty much need 4WOL from FFRK pack, water PuPu from early event, and luck based Machina and Rem. I was so happy to draw Dancer using the tickets I saved up for Tidus last time, then I realised I don't have 4WOL and M&R. So Scholar is the only way for me. After being killed by Malboro and Karma so many times, I gave up already. I'll probably drop out of top 3000 by end of the event sadly.

What's even more sad is the blatant paywall. I can only imagine in the future they'll probably sell the likes of Lightning, Squall and Hope at USD100. I am not playing much lately, no mood already....

I think if you help someone who hasn't cleared the multiplayer quest first time, you'll get 20 magicite. Kinda hard to find those, cause most people will rush in and grab their places very quickly.

I'm thinking of trying this. So I just need to set up a multiplayer game with one spot reserved, then use the party ID in my main account?

Thanks! I have been doing this, so far so good. I use a spare phone (laggy but it works). When playing, I also try to use different internet connection for different IP, one mobile data, one wifi. But I guess if they really want to ban, they can detect anyway.

Oh well if they ban me, I am quitting the game. There's so much paywall for all the new jobs it is getting ridiculous.

They are pretty good I think. Though for single player, the three best jobs are probably Scholar, Dragoon and Dancer since they have drive heal.

White mage is a very good healer for multiplayer. Dark Knight is an attacker.


Not too many people in Lowyat forum play this game I think haha.... Myself played since the week of launch but lately don't really enjoy much. Partly because Square Enix put jobs like Tidus behind paywalls, so knowing you can't get future jobs like Cloud, Lightning and Squall without spending money, well it just kills the mood for me.

Well all jobs are pretty good, so if you are enjoying dark knight. I say no worries, just keep playing. Those three jobs (dragoon, scholar and dancer) have added advantage in the sense of driving orbs (two out of the three colours) will give some healing. Like Scholar, I remember is fire and wind orb, if you drive these two orbs can get some healing. So it works as emergency healing when you don't have pink heart orbs.

Those three jobs are more likely to be in the top spots in tower events, where the drive heals can help a lot in emergency. But you need the right cards too to climb high up the tower events.

If you unlock your dark knight and white mage to panel 8, you probably can clear all SP content. So if you enjoy those, I say no worries. Besides, as you clear more content you'll get more summon tickets. You can summon more jobs and you might get Dragoon in the future. AFAIK, there are no new jobs coming soon, so the job pool will get smaller as you summon more jobs and your chance to get dragoon will get higher as you summon more jobs.

I know this sounds weird, but this game is actually quite F2P friendly apart from the obvious paywall for legendary jobs.

I found it really enjoyable last time, then I got upset with Tidus paywall and now I move on to other games already.

It is a pity cause I grind so much last time. I wonder if I can try selling my account off for a bit of cash? LOL
