I'm not saying it 100% works lar, but as long as you understand that machines also have to pay out instead of just taking in, you can somewhat take advantage of that fact.
Sooner or later, a machine has to pay out. If you kept a close eye on one and noticed in never struck a decently sized jackpot in a while, its due for one some time. You just need to be the one in front of it when it happens.
And when it does happen for you, you also need to be sensible enough to know that you beat the odds and leave instead of staying to bet more.
It was easier to do back when machines used physical coins so the occasional jackpot was actually necessary so that its own coin storage isn't filled up. Its a lot harder to pull off with the stored value cards since the machines no longer have a coin storage limit.
