For me, by their later infamy and misdeeds during the Darurat and Communist Insurgency era, the communist chinese resistance groups, at least, have totally negated and forfeited all the 'jasa-jasa' they have done during WW2. 

For example Chin Peng wants to be remembered as a hero who fought in WW2, but is he asking us to ignore what he did after?
